Hi so I spent a ton hours installing all the fff7 mods following the reunion and remako guides and I managed to get everything working eventually. But I have in the background black patches in every area almost. (except battle areas)

I tried deactivating all mods and still have these patches. Anyone know where I went wrong or how to fix this?

My laptop resolution is only 1280x720
The internal res was left at 3840x2160 by default. I tried changing this around with no luck.

thank you for your response though anyone got any other poossible solutions?

Set the x/y to 0 and report back.

This looks like a texture filtering problem to me. Try turning it off if you have it on in your OpenGL/Aali driver settings.

YES!!!
FIXED!!!

All I had to do was turn off texture cache in openGL. Can't believe it was that simple I reinstalled everything three times for this.

thank you :)
