Completely Unrelated / Want to make a Chrono Trigger mod
« on: 2012-09-14 17:59:44 »
I started looking into the tools and it doesn't seem feasible yet. I hope I'm wrong.
Anybody tried this and can give me any pointers?

One of my favorite aspects of the FF series is the music. If FF4 got me interested in it, FF6, Chrono Trigger, and FF7 cemented that interest for a lifetime.

There's a wide variety of music out there that we could use in our games. I know one place in particular I've never mined (because the sheer volume of music is overwhelming) is ocremix.

I've seen people say they use Black Mage tracks and other interesting things, so I thought it would be cool to see what other people are using. By sharing our playlists, perhaps we can discover new and better selections for our music.

And a big thank you to the people who sequence this music and make it available for gameplay :)

Anyone give this a spin?
The word on the grapevine is that it lands somewhere between V and VI in quality of music, plot, character development, and gameplay. Which made me spit out my drink.
I find this hard to believe but I don't have ios to try it. I've got an Android phone.
Apparently the prologue is free to download.

Edit: I'd take it nobody here has an iPhone to demo the Prologue? Oh well, it should be released on Android OS soon.

So I was looking up some of my old games on eBay and got to thinking that the people on these boards likely have some pretty rare gems.
To get an idea, here's couple I've found in my collection:
-Keio Flying Squadron (Sega CD)
-Dragon Slayer: Legend of Heroes (Turbo Grafx Super CD)
