Hi !

I tried to reinsert japanese voices, and to modified the LBA, it works. But the header of the iso file needs to be modified, and I don't know from what it can be modified. For example, the french iso starts with DDDD... and the japanese iso starts with D5D5...

It exsists an undub version of Final fantasy X - International, but I wan't to do this on the french version. At least, to make the render in NTSC instead of PAL (60 fps, without black borders...). And better if I can introduce japanese voices  :-D

I want to make an undub version of Final Fantasy X. I have already extract files from japanese version and french version, but now I don't know how recognize voices files, and how to replace them.

Sorry but I tried to replace the hex data in the .lgp file with the one I've modified, and it doesn't work.

Edit : Sorry I've found where to change the names of output files to use, but how do you now the number at the end of the file's name to correspond to each colors ?

I have an hex editor, and I've open the menu_fr.lgp file, I think I can modify file's names or values between them no ?

I've success to use the patch in the french version, but I have two questions :

- why we must change tex files in menu.lgp, magic.lgp and flevel.lgp ? Because there are no differences between the original textures and those in the patch.

- where did you find the name of textures for the menu ? Because I don't find this names in lgp files.

I will probably make text textures for french version.

Yes I can, but I'm french, and I prefer french subs. But the international version is what I want, in french.  :-D

Do you think it is possible to make an undub version of Final Fantasy X PAL version ?
I meen, extract japanese voices from the original game and put them into the french game ? (same thing for the videos)

With which tool do you edit this pictures ? Because I have tried to edit the WINDOW.BIN pictures with Photoshop and with TimUtil (convert the picture) and the file don't work.

OK, it will be very difficult to make this, but others translations (like Chrono Cross in french) have translate the videos.

But, we can extract the file and look the video. So I think we can replace the file to replace the video.

OK, but it's just to read the videos, what I want is to modify and insert the new video in the disc. I have already extract the videos with PSXMC and I can modify. The real problem is to convert AVI files into MOV files compatible with the game.

If you look at the screen, you can the see the window containing "Time" and "Gils" is bigger than the menu, it's just to put the word "Temps" in french not cut.

That's a great tool, but we can't edit dialogs in battles like in the file scene82, and also, I'm french and the letters like é or è aren't displayed correctly.
