Yeah, sounds pretty good. Good work!

Maybe we can integrate the programm in the 7th tool at a later time. Managing the game with one tool would be nice, don't you think?

found the problem. it is not being loaded when launching the app. fixed this and the tabitems. i have put the buttons, like in the modlibrary, to the top for better navigation.

edit:
uploaded a new, fixed version. gamesettings are now included. it is password free.

Edit: I also notice the ClientSettings are not saving after I close and reopen 7th Heaven. The message for detecting the startup settings only appears the first open, so I'm left with blank settings every time I open now.

my clientsettings have been saved. do you have any logs in the log-folder? you are on windows 10 i guess hm?

program files is not a problem at all. just use for the gameconverter progra~1 or progra~2 (Depends on which program files you use).

it looks like one of your setting files is damaged. you can try to delete it

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\7thWorkshop\

Delete Settings.xml and try it again.

@iro
for setting the default config, you read the registry to get the path for the directories and the exe file of ff7, right?

edit:

nvm. i have found a solution.

i uploaded a new version. i have implemented ClientSettings and GameSettings (icons in the upper left corner). As of now, ClientSettings are being saved for now.
Just try it out. It just takes a bit time....

7th Heaven / Re: Catalog 2.0 is HERE!

That would be fantastic. Tbh, manual load order isn't so bad IF we could have a drag feature to go along with the arrows for moving the mods. However, the more automation, the better :P And we're not talking Skyrim level of mods here, so automation should be doable.

When i was doing the UI yesterday, i just thought about it and it is really easy for auto order. I will implement it right away when i am coming to this part. The catalog needs to be changed then as well, but thats something for later.

You could try other psx games and see if they are related. You could also try to double check with an emulator.

You are welcome :)

Download 7th again and extract it in your 7th folder. Had the exact same issue.

64
Hm, the exe which is specified in the settings, did you right click on it and tried in the compatible tab to disable "... DPI support ..." i dont know the exact option. Then retry in fullscreen.something similar happened to me too.

65
Currently, i have no access to the files. Start 7th and go to settings. Change something at the subscription field and save it. The XML file should now be there

66
make sure that you have the correct subscription link. go to this path

C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\7thWorkshop

open settings.xml and look for this kinda thing

<Subscriptions>
    <Subscription>
      <LastSuccessfulCheck>2016-01-07T19:49:10.1575022+01:00</LastSuccessfulCheck>
      <FailureCount>0</FailureCount>
      <Url>iros://Url/http$pastebin.com/raw.php?i=yhR721Kh</Url>
    </Subscription>
  </Subscriptions>

make sure it looks like this.

@Insight

1.On the right side, could we have a collapsible window pane to show the mod previews and display the description underneath it?

2.Can we allow Activation of multiple mods highlighted together? Same for Deactivate?

3.Can we have an Activate All/Deactivate All option, perhaps as a drop-down or right-click menu on the current Activate/Deactivate buttons?

4.The Donation button should just open another Window with Mod Authors listed and a donation link next to their name. Only authors who provide their own links will be added.

5.Drag and drop feature for arranging mod orders, like we spoke about before :P

I edited the quote. ;)

1.yes
2.yes
3.yes (i have an idea about that)
4.my thought ;)
5.not sure, with this datagrid, probably not possible.

edit:
@iro
Since i have some time to spare, i am working on the UI and so on. I will let you know what my status is.

i think so too. it is not so hard. have to create a ruleset and the rest is by implementation :)

Great work as expected. Maybe Iro and i can actually implement a feature for the correct load order instead of doing it manually depending on the activated mods.

Catalogs / Re: [FF7] Update Reports and Mod Requests
« on: 2016-01-06 06:51:43 »
Checklist is already written out and done :) It's just a matter of typos and silly mental mistakes like hitting a save button. And currently the only way to check the compatibility feature, they have to be uploaded and downloaded to pull the ID information from it. Manual imports of the IRO don't appear to recognize the mod IDs. No biggie, just a little bit of a time sink.

Sounds good.just add the entry for clicking the save button ;)

Hey staff

I know i am inpatient for this release, but i really miss using 7th heaven alot

i really like using 7th heaven alot, with all of the stuff and mods on it

Then use 1.0

Take your time Alyza.maybe a checklist before uploading is necessary,if there are a lot of factors that matters for the correct working of the mods.

For everyone who is asking: when its done.

Alyza said,she is uploading right now.it might be today,tomorrow or by the end of the week. We waited months, we can wait for some additional days.

Catalogs / Re: [FF7] Update Reports and Mod Requests
« on: 2016-01-05 16:25:09 »
Almost all of their recent posts have been complaining about things and asking unreasonable requests. It's not right for the community and for Alyza, it's exactly as you say.

Can only sign this. It is too much effort for one person alone. 2.0 is great as it is and we should be grateful that the next version will arrive shortly.

Yo Iro, made an update:

https://mega.nz/#!NhlA3LQA!SWeon8yLltpuJeQLmDGufSj3z0qYisYdporO4GVfpeA

pw is tifa, like last time. Click and experiment if you want. it's not perfect, but you should get the hang of it.

Edit:
If we agree on the design, my next approach would be to get to the backend and the models. It is just a showcase in which direction it can get. I would grab your sourcecode and remake some stuffs,but also transfer your code into a library for easier use with the client. Changelogs would be posted here or into another thread, as you like.
