LoL the model is a bit ugly for a ripped one, so I'm thinking it might not be ripped, but I have no way of proving that.. so I'm wondering if someone here may shed some light on this,

also I think this guy used that model here http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=13366.0 I just want to clarify this matter

Anyway I think it's better not to mess with a model from kula's mod just to be safe.. thanks.. I'm getting better with blender so I think I'm better  off making my own UV and models than using those parts.

Haha, I guess I stll need a few more adjustments, I'm actually interested in this model.. http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=13366.0 it's textures are way cooler.. LOL..I wont even bother working on a vincent model If only this was released..

 I'm learning making proper uv's with blender right now also basics of modeling, when I'm better I'm planning to enhance this models, like tifa dolphin style hair, gun holster for vincent, and a new jacket for the AC barret..

btw are we allowed to use this model,

I've checked it seems the textures are from a JKA mod..I'm not sure of the model.

I'm planning to use those legs and claws if its allowed..

....I know there's already a HQ Cid in the bootleg...

didn't see any.. you should edit that post might disappoint some who'll read that, I think you mistook the HQ highwind for a Cid model.

Update on the vincent enhancement..
I reduced the size of the whole model .. bit tedious resizing all those parts and bone without ruining the model..

here's a shot of the model in game,

So animation glitch is not fixed like reported in the current thread, or maybe this was something else? I find the eyes and mouth sooo tiny though. I commented about it in the current thread.

The model is fixed already, so far no bugs/issues have been reported so I'm making it my final release, I tried tweaking with  the face but I just can't get it right, making the eyes and mouth larger makes the face weird..

This is cool actually, I agree the intro we have here seems too flashy and long, I like watching it in my media player and not ingame, keep up the good work! I'll definitely use this one..

BTW apz I really admire your work can you recommend something like a turorial on texturing, specially those realistic skin with shading.. I'm working on some models enhancements and I'm not satisfied with my skills on that part yet..

Sorry I'm a bit slow an didn't catch up on your prepatched thing..

So basically you want an apz cloud with textures set to 10 and his sword assigned to texid 5 in one download?

I'm not an expert but I think something like that would have to be done on the original apz cloud, since it will alter the battle model.. so you'll have to ask apz to do it, but as stated above looks like apz won't do it due to errors. It's not that hard to do it if people took time and effort to mod there games I think its neessary for them to learn this simple steps, after all it's clearly explained here how to do it, it's pretty much spoonfeeding already.

It does have similarity with the vincent remodel by jin.. I'm working on a vincent revision right now but the vincent here lacks textures.. the left hand and the pants are not textured so I was wondering if I could use some parts on the vincent mode in  kula's mod

Is there tool that can resize battle models?
It's a bit tedious to resize bones and parts one by one in kimera and theres the possibility of kimera crashing whike resizing.

Wow this is awesome. You've made High Quality AC Barret, Yuffie, Vincent, Tifa....I know there's already a HQ Cid in the bootleg. All that really needs to be done would be retexing Cait Sith, and a new Sephiroth please. :) And you would have finished a long time goal everyone on this forum has had, wanting HQ mods for each character.

Also for those asking, I can try to modify the battle models into field models when I get some time, like the Apz Cloud (before I realized Omega Novae did it) and WhiteRavens Tifa and Barret. I assume it'd have to be in a new thread however.

Didn't see that hq cid.. I'm currently looking for a cid model to retexture , the vincent model almost done.. just need to rescale the model..

As for cait sith and sephiroth kuugen has it spot on, I can't improve a model if a fully textured one doesn't exist.. I may have seen a seph before but no cait sith..

I'm also planning to do some slight modifications on the HQ aerith the face particularly.. I won't touch the barret and cloud, apz's and timu's already perfect.

I'm having problems with the HQ Aerith, lots of errors when saving and opening the battle file, when I open the model again after saving some parts are missing. Does anyone know how rid of this errors? I really want to do some enhancements on that  aerith model.

Can't do the field conversions my kimera crashes a lot when dealing with field models..

LoL, I tested the vincent model ingame, he's really big.. did not notice in kimera.. this is gonna be a lot of work.. have to do the parts and bones resizing again, (is there a faster way to do this? like scaling down the whole model in one go)

tHanks have the file already.. I'm opening it in kimera right now it's all good.. I adjusted the hair a bit and shorten the shoulder bone to connect those arms closer to the body..

UPDATING LINK AND REUPLOADING .....

..oops sorry error uploading poor internet connection looks like it'll have to wait til later..

Problem should be solved if you open Yuffie battle model and allow 10 texture.
My guess is your using a custom weapon and the texture is an added file.
For it to be read you need to tell the model there's an extra texture to overlay.

But then again I'm using Mike's Yuffie wep... I'm not sure what's the dilly with the default wep.
Texture problems with the yufie model has been fixed already. Link is already updated.

Also I fixed it by setting the number of tex to 4 since this yufie model uses 4 textures. It won't hurt to set it to 10 since it's the maximum number of allowed textures but unless you're planning to add more textures I think 4 will be fine.

Again no need to fix the model, Fixed version already available for download, Thanks!

Don't worry I can do the dirty work for u... :P Slowly but surely... The only thing I need everytime is help with the animation. I don't understand how to fix the bones so as not to break apart in some animation frames.

Thanks, I think I'll start working now on the aerith so your help on the Yufie model will be very much appreciated.

Actually the Aerith model that Mike textured was modeled by me, so I technically should be credited as well for it; just pointing that out. Plus he never released the model yet, as far as I know, so getting the files for it wouldn't be easy unless I decided to give the latest one he sent to me, however he made a couple revisions after, so I don't have the updated one yet. lol

He told me in a message that he'd start back up on it a bit later after done with his current project.

I see if it's not a completed/released model yet I don't think I'll be messing with it.. I don't think it's proper to mess with a model that someone is currently working on, (LoL it's kinda against my principle ) we have to respect the author and wait for him to finish it and release the model.

LoL kula's mod is already out date I think it uses some older mods.. It's one of my hopes that we can recreate something similar to it or even better, without the ripped content..

I'm still new at this and still trying to learn using blender and the ins and out of porting models to ff7, for now I'm limited to enhancing textures of models that already have UV maps.

Since many wants Aerith's face redone, I think I'll make one for her next..

I'll look into it too hope my rig can handle those models, I'm having trouble with my kimera being laggy when dealing with field models

I positioned the little detail with the ponytails and shoes to match with the body exactly, in the Yuffie model. I can match the hands for you as well to touch the body if you are interested but it will take some time. I can send you the files i corrected in an email if you send me one. Thanks!

sorry I really didn't go into those details since they're barely visible in-game and I dont have the patience to go repeating those process on all 7 sets of files LoL.

Awesome and thank you very much for this! Yuffie's mouth and eyes look sooo tiny to me  and lips seem a little tight... I believe it would be perfect if you enlarged this a bit, but smaller than Grimmy's, so they would be noticeable. And if possible make lips a little more natural. Thank you for all your work!

edit: Ok i opened it with Kimera... eyes are not tiny. Size is balanced with the face size but they seem small when you look the model from a far distance in battle. I believe mouth needs a little tweaking... unfortunately I'm not an expert to guide you but I can just report it looks a little unnatural to my eyes. I also noticed that the shoes (npbk and npbq) are a little off but I'm not sure if it's just in kimera.

I'll try to do something for the lips thing, but the eyes I believe are ok.. it just appears smaller in some angles.
the shoes thing wont appear in the battle files.. I fixed it already, battle files uses rxaa and not npaa.. I kinda fix it only in the rx set of files only.. not sure what the other sets of files are for.
Barret and Tifa's modd are perfect for me, but Yuffie has white weapon for me.

idk who made them but theyre in with jka yuffie so grimmy i guess. until white raven fixes his files you can do this to fix it in the mean time
open pcreator
options click battle
file click open battle hrc
open rxaa from whiteravens yuffie
type 4
click ok
get the original jka yuffie
copy over rxae and rxaf.

thats it

Do you know why the model works fine for me while have this texture problems with other users??
just find it hard to test the model now since that bug doesn't occurs for me.
