Alright for everyone and the whole community who want to mix and match stuff, I did something..

First, I made the Remako Field mod have the Minigames and Char folders as secondary on off options.

Well, I downloaded it and took the field .iro apart for the field mod and the minigame bits are definitely improvement over the community mods versions and I'm going to try them together and see if yours will override just those little bitty changes on top..

I'm not messing with anything else, but I definitely see how important it is to have all of the field mods, and check updates, because they all can have some areas looking better than another.

Also, definitely can already see some /char folder improvements here and there..

As I had originally said, I think we all need to try to put together some mixes for the community. I'm seeing little things here and there in about all of them that could be shared together..

Also, thanks for all the work you've put into this project CaptRobau.

Wait, you actually managed to combine the dynamic mod of Kal and Nino?
Cause i've tried too but on Nino's field model it always only shows his weapons not those of mike and millenia.

I have, I actually use more than that even, ChaOS, Tsunamods Cid & Barret's Dynamic weapons, Kal's Dynamic, & Nino's Dynamic, and all work together (More even still from bloodshot and another, but I don't have them on right now), I said how I did it, too..

Ill preface this with dont take it the wrong way mate im just genuinely curious/confused;
In what world is false, and more importantly inconsistent false detail, janky lines across the board, large noise and heavy chromatic aberration (that couldve been cleaned easily; how do you disagree with that observation btw, chromatic aberration is either present or not this is hardly up to preference) closer fo ff7 "style" ?

Did you mayb not watch the screens in full size? Btw imo satsuki was actually pretty charitable in his choice of what fields to post comparison shots for :P

All I know is, I no longer use Remako, at all, I hadn't even checked about an update and I'm still using Ark's with Satsuki's /char folders..

oh that? that is easy to fix, it's a load order thing, in 7th heaven just place Battle Model - Weapons above the ninostyle models and the weapons should get overwriten whichever the option it is that you chose, if you put Ninostyle models above Battle Models - Weapons then ninostyle will overwrite the battle models

Oh, it is, Nino overrides them always unless on alt_face, and if I want Nino's I just use the other two settings. Kal's Dynamic is above that even, at the very top, and only overrides the field weapons, not world or battle..

As I said, it's a tricky setup, but it all works when setup just right, I just turn on Nino's dynamics and it all works together without issues, with only world working from Nino, since nothing else does show up with world at all, and the other two, battle and field, being overridden by Mike + Millenia.

that is because Nino's Cloud with weapons also changes the weapons and for that I didn't touch the rtaa there since if you chose that option wouldn't it be to show the weapons Ninostyle too? if you want only cloud wouldn't you chose one of the other options? I can check it, I think it is because it needs more ID's for the textures and that's an easy fix :)

Nah, it's just that, the other two basically are the same alternative for Cloud, both feature the exclusive battle weapon models that override Kal's for the most part. Also, as I said, alt_face fixes it entirely w/ the base battle models - weapons, so I'm quite content, I just didn't want ultima weapon to glitch out later, so if that handles it, awesome & thanks.

I have done a lot of tests with the various weapon models and i honestly have no idea why this is but the Ninostyle battle models (those that are drawn over with the original artworks of the game) don't seem to show any of those issues.
As far as i can see with just Cloud at least, I'm not sure why.

This conflict didn't happen in the original mod from the catalog, I wonder if it has anything to do with some of the other files.

Nino's doesn't even show Millena & Mike's ever in battle without the old Battle Model - Wepons IRO, so, about that; & I have to have Cloud's model on alt_face to not get all white weapons..

So, it's been a journey of confusion on my end, too..

Any way to use the latest version of the reunion along 7th heaven without breaking everything?
I read up on some things and i wonder if maybe using the 60fps mod would fix my issues though i sincerely doubt it.

Not that I know of and it's not being made to work with anything else.

Meaning, when it's released we will have to take it apart and pull the bits we want to use outside of the install and test them, ourselves..

However, if you just look at the animations .iro it has this and we will update when the R6 comes out, we all just have to test it with our mods ourselves.

If I run into any issues like this, this is good to know, and as I haven't gotten the Ultima Sword I have no idea if it might effect my setup.

My Buster Sword I have as the Crisis Core model flipped over thanks to Kal, but that was an interesting find for this late game sword.

I will use your fix if I need it for Ultima, so thanks to you, too, and enjoy the game.

r06? If you mean release candidate 6 thats the one im using but there's no options for that.

No, he means Reunion version 6, it's a full game overhaul including the updates to the 60 FPS fix. Just do a forum search you'll find reunion's project in here.

at this point i just want an iro that works since I've been wanting to play for days and have not because i want mike's buster sword and Ultima weapon and also Millenia's weapons. I don't like almost half of the models from Slayer sorry and I don't know what else to do, if you still got the mod installed and working properly could you please, PLEASE get it into an IRO or something and send it to me? I'm just desparate at this rate! T^T

I've moved the rtaa from one folder to the other i tryed taking the iriginal files from Mike and put them into Millenia+Mike from this mod, packed and unpacked the iro a lot... I don't know what else to do anymore and I've tryed to use pcreator tool even to change texture IDs but it won't open saying it's missing don't know what file now... It's 2:50am for me and I've been at this since 11:30am...

There isn't anything anyone can do if your PC refuses to actually work with the mod; unless the original mod creators can tailor it to your specific rig at this point, if it is in fact the mod, there is no solution.

I told you you can uninstall it and you may need to completely reset your installs because of the multiple re-tries, as it may have wrecked some of the files and how they load. It means you can't just do a simple re-install. It has to be a completely clean install and re-download from scratch of any network .iro you had been using.

Why I suggested taking it apart, is because if it's still not working, your rig may have specific issues with this mod itself, which would require the attempts to change it you already seem to have tried inside the files or by moving it into one that works..

I know it's tricky to learn, but nothing in this title has mod-friendly involved in it..

I did, after a clean installation of the game following on the steps that are specified at the frequently asked questions about 7h, the first thing I did was try the mod with Mike+Millenia option and the sword was still broken I no longer know what to do except chose another option and wait and hope until the catalog gets officially updated and that this mod gets a fix that way...

Another thing that happens is that the buster sword instead of using Mike's Buster Sword it uses Millenia's instead for the textures when I activate the option of mixing both so I think it's a problem on how the mods where put in that combined pack for that option. I would love to install them manually, but it requires opening a file I don't know how to open and I don't wanna dive there in case I break anything

Um, just opening .iro files is an option right in the top tab, click Workshop, select IRO creation tool. Next, click the Unpack IRO tab. Then make a folder, copy the folder location and paste the location in, Output Folder. Finally, select the Source IRO and find where your .iro mods are, generally  in your FINAL FANTASY VII\mods\7th Heaven folder..

Look at what comes out and see if something's broken that way, because I have zero issues with any battle mods UNLESS I use other mods at all.

However, with multiple uninstalls and re-installs it's possible some of your IRO files got messed up. See, I have to completely uninstall the iro's and re-download them, too I can't use 7th Heaven backups, I never run without fresh ones, in a separate, clean backup folder, if any at all, AFTER uninstalling them from 7th Heaven, and I tear my IRO's apart to check if things are in the right places..

hmm... ok thank you, I'll try to do it like that, but as I said the only mods I'm using and have activated are:

in order first to last:

1. Battle Models - Weapons
2. Filed Models - Objects
3. FF7 NT IRO 1.5 May 2019 (an IRO file he updated that fixed a problem with field models character models missing the changes)
4. Menu - Avatars and Backdrops

this is what I have active for a Profile to Play the New Threat mod and don't know what might be the problem. I guess I'll do what you say about disabling them all and see if the model changes work

Edit: I've found another problem. I deactivated all the mods I got activated, but when i start the game it looks as if I had active mods that should have been deactivated. I don't know what's happening anymore, could it be that 7H is trying to load the mods from the Library tab instead of the Active mods tab? I've tried uninstalling the mods i got there but after uninstalling the mods and then launching the game turns out the mods are still active... I don't know what to do anymore here I'll try a new installation of the game or something again because this is starting to get on my nerves.

Edit 2: I've done a fresh installation of everything, the game, 7th Heaven the patching and everything, only installed and activated the "Battle Models - Weapons" with no other mods on the game... the weapon is still broken so I think the issue is with that particular mod.

Edit 3: Aactual mods installed and active:

New Threat mod 1.5 (mencionado arriba)

New Threat is a .exe specific mod, if you use it, it absolutely may be the cause, it even requires ONLY booting with a specific .exe or it breaks everything. Try without it installed.

Hello,

does the chaos mod change every single model in the game or does it focus on the most important models, like the main heroes, shinra, some story relevant NPCs?

Edit: I installed 7H and tested this mod myself. At first look it seems every model got a rework. Awesome mod. The big models option is a good idea, but i get with New Threat Mod many crashes when i enter certain areas with big models.

Yes, EVERY single model, that's the entire point of the project of the mod. :P

Kal made the code so it can be overridden by mods put ABOVE it, and YES sometimes there are glitches with that setup with a few specific mods in 7th Heaven that break or don't get overridden.

However, no, there are no options to turn off individual characters, but it's the BEST option for removing all chibi's from the game and I'm happy for it.

Also, are you certain it's meant to work with New Threat? New Threat is meant to be a stand alone .exe mod from what I have been following, and why I don't use it includes the fact that it requires a change in the .exe which some mods I use alter already..

Found 2 other bug:

With your flevel the ancient's key in dio showroom is a save "?" icon (the model used in flevel is not the good one)
With your models i can't get the dialogs to show up in this game's part (dialogs are ok with the same flevel and with regular models, if i edit the char.lgp to put regular models for this field, the dialogs show again but i cant spot out why):

I only downloaded that one mod for weapon models, I have no other mod for it since it was the only one in the catalog

:O Only one in the catalog? Um, no, no, MANY mods ALSO effect the characters weapons, that's my point, that mod won't work with SEVERAL others turned on.

You'd need to list out every single other mod you are using with it to even begin to pinpoint the cause, and that includes things you may have turned off but not disabled, sometimes they still mess with specific combinations.

That is the only way to even troubleshoot outside of, turning off and disabling all other mods and testing the weapons alone, first, then add your mods ONE by ONE until you see the issue, that's the other way to figure this mystery out. good luck.

This generally happens when you have two mods that have conflicting changes to the weapons. For example, some Ninostyle models will make Millenia + Mike's weapons white, in either field or battle depending on what dynamic or other weapons you have turned on or off. Sometimes you may have to even just disable other mods to make one work. Good luck.

Ohhh, oh, I figured out what you meant, so I went ahead and combined the updates for satsuki into the community battle .iro & added the three files from satsuki missing from the new combination..

There is no community background field mod, but they are big files, and putting together .iro's too large can cause issues.. Another reminder, I work with a killer beast of a system, near 32GB of RAM free for code injection, so some may not even be able to run as many as I do. So putting them all together, I wouldn't suggest it.

However, test this to make sure it is working, I'm doing that now.

Hello Tracido, thx for the sharing, awesome world texture with thoose combines ! ^^, are you plan to do the same with the field texture and the battle texture?

I did, just scroll up and one page back. ;) You can even mix the fixes from Satsuki from his /char folder for the 3d parts of the 2d backgrounds, with any other field mod for the 2d backgrounds.

It's an aali driver bug for black section, nothing you can do so far.
it's not enhanced because the "char" files haven't be filtered in is pack

Your great work on that /char folder functions in all field background mods, however, you are right, this glitch is just with aali, in all versions.

Your update made all the crashing go away from the older audio file combo in 7th heaven, and it's pretty kickass itself, thanks.

I'm using your updates with Satsuki's /char folder in 7th Heaven, the only thing that started causing crashes was the old audio & this is the most enjoyment I've had playing this game in nearly 20 years.. Tsuna released an update that made all those audio issues go away for now and I'll be even happier when the audio is updated from R6..

Thanks to everyone here from before and those still working on the game like this together.

It depends. Sometimes a reboot causes a Windows Update, which then could change the registry keys. My virtual drive doesn't change/disable after a restart, but I can see that happening with others. If you run the game converter and still get the problem, then it's the virtual drive being disabled.

Make sure V Drive stays on by default, got it, hadn't done that, got lucky, whew..
