FF VII some mods working, some are not

I've got the game running good,  but I have noticed certain mods so far are not working.  I've tried looking through the forums and haven't had much luck getting them to work.  The mods I know for sure that aren't working so far are field models main characters and Menu avatars and backdrops.  New to FF7 modding. 


Edit:  after posting this ive also noticed that the battle model characters and field models main characters are not working either.  I must have something messed up somewhere.

Have you made the direct mode change in FF7_Opengl.cfg?

Inside such file you must change direct_mode = off to direct_mode = on

yup,  I've made the changes to ff7_opengl.cfg
