Yes once sony took away the Other os Installation function it pissed a lot of their customers off, I simply wanna hack it so maybe I could see if there is anything to help with the PSN copy of ff7, I'll be honest I don't have much skill but I know I should start at getting my ps3 hacked.

Is there any way I can use a custom install, there are somethings I want and some I do not

wow that awesome, I'm thinking about starting classes for programming at the University of Phoenix, I've always been interested in computers, but I'd say my strongest point is networking right now. But I would really like to be able to contribute something here and anywhere else besides posts and wants.

I was just sitting here wondering, how did all these people get the skill and inspiration to work so hard on modding pc games. Or even the skill to do it. I can sit here all day an try to read and learn and figure out how to do the things others do..but can't really seem to get anywhere, this si really when for me because this is the same method I used to learn how to hack and mod my psp, wii, and ps3 (that was especially hard since it is the Cloud Black ACC model from japan)  I'm guessing some of you have gone to school for computer programming to learn most of the things you do?

Anyway just curious and mostly wanted to see what direction and approach I should take.

psp virus?

59
any names for these tools?

I will let you know what I come up with but the PSN sounds less likely at the moment, but let me see if I can mod an image of the psx and convert it to a psp eboot

Wow I have just become a member, and it took a few days, and a few people getting frustrated by me but I believe I have the hang of it now! As of now I will no longer ask where I can find mods because it is obviously in the mods section!

I will also no longer double post or ask about things I'm not supposed to because I have found the wonderful RULE PAGE.

I have also found that there are many many many useful tools here made for noobs (non programmers or over excited fans that only want to gets mods the easy way) that can help you make your own mods and basically make your own little story for the game.

This post might even be more annoying then me in the past few days but I would just like to say

THANKS!!

P.s. I STILL WANT TO GET THESE MODS WORKING ON PSN COPY!

62
Anyone wanna help me learn how to apply these patches and where to find em?

63
This may sound stupid because I know nothing about moding the psx version of the game, But say you rip the modded psx disc then turned it to a psp eboot

Ok there are ways to set up the game via usb from pc but that doesn't count. There is also talk you can do it with the WLAN but then you must stay in range of your wireless router and that hasn't been proven yet.

64
Do you know of anyone who has ever tried? or the problems encountered?

65
Is it possible to apply mods to a PSN copy of Final fantasy 7? Has anyone ever ventured into this territory?

66
I'm sure you guys could so some tinkering with the meteor in the sky on disk 3

XD

Nice contribution... a smiley face.   Read the rules please.   If I had stacked your warnings like I usually do, you wouldn't be able to post by now.   Once I log back in later tonight, I hope to see your posts exemplifying a strong grasp of the rules.

Ok I am having a problem with the aalis custom driver when the resolution is set to 1280X860 the game fits the window  (windowed mode) and I have full view. The only problem is I get "no indirect path found" error then when I start a battle i get an "invalid_value error and it skips the battle swirl.

All of these problems are fixed when I change resolution to 1280X960 except the very top portion of the screen is cut off (items on the main menu is cut off) but I get the battle swirl!!

I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this some magical resolution I can set it to, my monitor resolution is 1440X900 (incase this has something to do with it) changing my monitor resolution to 1280X960 does not make this better as it only makes the 1280X960 resolution effect my battle swirl

PLEASE HELP!

There is a difference between stealing mods and using mods....I do not wish to steal any work...just simply use...with permission this is why I asked on this post. The point was not that guys youtube channel the point was if he could sell someone elses work as his own he must have been able to download it from somewhere...I don't want to find out how to download it to sell it as my own like he did. I just want to apply them to my game once I can find them, if anyone wishes to help please let me know.

Wouldn't mind making my own, I just need to know where to start, I have no experience what so ever !

I have found only videos of others, but apparently this guy is a major fake.

but in the video you do see other custom battle models, and apparently they are all stolen from other creators.
