UNRESOLVABLE: YAMP patch and the Menu Overhaul Project

I was told that it's possible to use YAMP patches with the Menu Overhaul Project.
How is this accomplished?
The patches in question are Lucky Tifa, Lucky Cait Sith and Gypt Instant.

First Try:
I've applied the YAMP patches to the 1.02 patched ff7.exe and everything works.
When I install the Menu Overhaul Project 002a, the game becomes extremely unstable, exhibits visual anomalies and crashes.

So I reversed the install order.

Second Try:
I installed the Menu Overhaul on a clean 1.02 patched ff7.exe and everything works.
When I attemp to install YAMP, I get a ff7.exe that is 0 bytes in size.
YAMP produces a debug.txt file that has a lot of errors like:
   66: searchi reg[0](0x1) 0x5 reg[0](0x1)
       nothing found
   F2: errorne
   61: search reg[0](0x0) 0x5
       nothing found
   F1: errore
   Error occured while patching the file.

Can someone please enlighten me as to how I keep screwing up YAMP?

YAMP cannot patch a modified exe.

However I can add it in as an option for next release
