Felagrog, your textures are failing to load, and you running the game from a protected folder, I suggest you move it to a folder that doesnt have the game inside "program files".  Then reconfigure 7h to point to the new folder, and it should work properly then.

Ok Flash0429, please do this to resolve this problem.

Remove the mod from 7h, using the trashcan icon, if you have to, do this for each duplicate as well.
Close down 7h, and relaunch it, very important this step.
Check there is no instances of it in the library (my mods)
Download it again from the catalog, the problem should then be solved.

just to help in some debugging, I can do it via cheat engine, but a hotkey would be easier.  But no biggie if cant be implemented.

General Discussion / Re: [FFVII-R] Discussion & News
« on: 2020-03-13 05:16:07 »
I have mixed views, cannot remember if I replied on this earlier.

For me, its a new FF7 game, which is not a bad thing, but I am not sure if I am happy with the fact they ditched the existing system and made it into an action RPG.

Also not happy with the profiteering of splitting  one game into three.  No matter how much you stretch it out so the hours of game time add up, it doesnt quite sit right with me.

If they wanted to do 3 games.  I would have been ok with the FF7 as the main part of the story, second game been a prequel covering crisis core, a game that was only ever released on a handhold.  The 3rd one been entirely new story been added.  Blizzard did something similar with starcraft 2 and for me that didnt turn out well.

Game is pre ordered however, nostalgia and all that, I am also not a fan of all the exclusive DLC nonsense, my OCD makes me want to have every part of a game, and this would require at the very least buying 3 copies, which I think is not a nice way to treat your fan base.  Ended up pre ordering the digital version which has the most content included as an option and a dashboard theme.

You can test xinput plus. But I have to test it with the new 2.0 version myself.

xinput plus works fine with 7h 2.0.

Try excluding ff7.exe and 7th heaven.exe in any security software you have installed, including the windows DEP if you have that set to non default behaviour.

Enjoying your 2.0 version very much. Curious, is it possible to enable all boxes (field/battle) to be transparent like the help box?

This has been developed and a new build will go out after has had some testing.

Also the OP will be updated over the next couple of days, I was busy helping with the 7h launch.

FF7 Tools / Re: [PC] Text editor - touphScript (v1.3.0)
« on: 2020-01-28 12:37:55 »
Some feedback from myself.

Note I am running this on Windows 8.1 64bit.

The dump feature seems to not do anything, I get an entry in the log reporting the registry location, and nothing else.  In the command window I do see a bunch of numbers indicating it is reading the flevel file, but nothing gets written, so I am unable to get text files from flevel.lgp.  This happens regardless if I set the paths or if I let it use defaults.

Download link to latest version is broken 1.3.1.

I ended up ordering the psn digital deluxe edition as its the only version that has all the digital content except a clothing patch.  But will miss out on the steelcase though.

That's why i realy want to see in what way r06 deal with mod, and realy hope you'll release the full source code of your work so the project can be upgraded even if you vanish too (you never know what can appens tomorrow and that's why i HATE close source projects, lots of cool project never have been upgraded because of that)

Just want to point out 7h is not a dead project.

TrueOdin and unab0mb are the current maintainers.  A new version is been worked on, alongside a newer driver.

I've encountered this error on Windows 10, but don't remember it happening in Win 7. It's weird. I'll have to look at it when I get time. I'm not sure there's a work-around.

Same here on windows 8.1, I assume a dependency library thats newer on newer versions of windows is causing the issue.  Will try on a Windows 7/XP VM.

The buttons would be affected.  But you can redo that modification the same way as you did on the old MO.

You can patch the game using hext patches.  Its a way of patching the game code without overwriting the actual executable.

If there is no guide for doing this on qhimm, I will see if one can be posted.
