Okay thanks for the info I will mess around with it a bit and see what I can do. If I can get anything good to come out of it I will post some images here

edit:

I could not find version the version you suggested but I did find version 332 and I managed to extract some .obj files but when I try to open them in photoshop I just get an error that it wasn't parsed right or that I don't have enough ram when I have 4gigs and only about 54% of it is in use plus a ATI HD Radeon 6970 with 2Gigs of ddr5 ram so I don't know why it's giving me the not enough ram error could you explain a little better how to extract the files properly and how to insert them properly into photoshop. Thanks in advance

Yeah^^ if you look on the videos he looks quite feminine=) Especialy with his light blue eyes (always thought before, that they are dark blue)

Really nice work, great to see more people working on FF8.

Sadly, we can only use battle models, which Shiva isn't, so it isn't gonna happen soon...

But if you really want, I can find a way to extract the textures from the game (I'm the one providing FeliX with textures and models).

The problem is now how to inject the textures. We can inject one texture per model, but a lot of models (including Squall and Ifrit) have two textures. So the only thing we can do is to wait for aali. And only after it will be possible to inject the textures, I'll start to make them

Yep, but for that we have to change the models UV's, but the problem is that we can't import them back also -_-
