I was wondering if I can find the official "Final fantasy vii technical demo" with the "Cloud jumping off train" scene in original quality that released in E3. I need it to remake my opening.avi from start to achieve the highest quality possible. I have only found some shaggy or camera qualities on youtube with bad sound. Thanks for any help!

Anonymous threatens to take Internet down March 31

Anonymous has threatened to launch a coordinated cyberattack that would effectively shut down the worldwide Internet, international media outlets reported. Anonymous said the attack has been planned as a protest against "our irresponsible leaders and the beloved bankers who are starving the world for their own selfish needs out of sheer sadistic fun".

However, Robert Graham, a security expert expressed his doubt that the attack would cause much damage:

    "They might affect a few of the root DNS servers, but it's unlikely they could take all of them down, at least for any period of time," Graham wrote. "On the day of their planned Global Blackout, it's doubtful many people would notice."

Meanwhile, the group promised that they will regularly attack government and corporate sites under the theme of #FFF, or f*ck the FBI Friday.

    "We are already sitting on dozens of unreleased targets. Yes, each and every Friday we will be launching attacks… with the specific purpose of wiping as many corrupt corporate and government systems off our internet," the group anounced.

Anonymous warns US government over ACTA

Hacker group Anonymous took down a number of U.S. government websites early this morning in continuing protests over ACTA, the controversial anti-counterfeiting trade agreement. It attacked the FTC's consumer protection business center and the National Consumer Protection Week websites. Here is a part of the text, displayed on these sites:

    "Congratuations! You got rooted and rm'd (AGAIN). U MAD!? Don't like it?... So, how's it feel when your entire site is jack-hammered off the internet? Do tell!".

    "Guess what? We're back for round 2. Well, with the doomsday clock ticking down on Internet freedom, Antisec has leapt into action. Again. Holy déjà vu hack Batman! Expect us yet?"

    "If ACTA is signed by all participating negotiating countries, you can rest assured that Antisec will bring a f**ing mega-uber-awesome war that rain torrential hellfire down on all enemies of free speech, privacy and internet freedom. We will systematically knock all evil corporations and governments off of our internet."

ACTA was recently signed by several countries, but restrictions on online piracy have prompted a growing protest movement.

This shouldn't happen since there is no brizad.tex in an original magic.lgp. You are most likely using the kela51 models so it is being told by the brizad.rsd to look for the brizad.tex, but I'm not sure. A fix would be to convert Kela's brizad tex to png, and name it Brizad_00.png then place it in that location. I may include that in the fixes just so others don't get the same issue.

That is from the TA magic textures. I was unaware it had a second palette, so I didn't add one. It will load the one I included when it does the falling back on palette 0 I think. Or yes just copy paste the HVSHOT_00.png and rename it HVSHOT_01.png.

Keep reporting any issues and I will put together a fixes pack soon.

In my country (Greece) ACTA has passed along with A LOT other SH** it's not in effect until June but I have experienced a lot of speed issues from my ISP and when the technician visited me today he told me not to DOWNLOAD MUCH... and that SOME people are loosing money. I told him whatever get me all the old series that I can't find for sale here and I won't... totally whatever. 3 kids were arrested 3 days ago with the charge that they were into the "ANONYMOUS" group responsible for the Ministry of Justice attack. For huge laughs everyone... they look pitiful with all these actions that only someone in panic does...

DLPB: I'm having a major problem with this mod, specifically with the battle menu switcher. I have a 55" TV in the same room as my computer. It's an old rear projection TV. The keyboard cord isn't long enough to reach where I have to sit to be in front of the TV, so I have to sit to the side and the colors look horrible when sitting to the side like that. Also the DVI-to-HDMI converter puts "black snow" all over the screen.

Can you or Aali have an option during installation that changes the color to compensate for having to play it at this extreme angle? I read the whole first post and the readme and they didn't talk about this at all.

On a serious matter, my wife told me that if I buy her a Wii, she will agree to play FF7 and FF8. This is a huge deal, as she has avoided any games I've tried to get her to play in the past (besides Facebook games and Mahjong), partly because her ex-husband was into FF7. I'm hoping this mod and maybe the retranslation one will be done by that time so she can experience FF7 the best way possible. So, M005? Yes?  :D  ;)

I spotted the HVSHOT_00.png and HVSHOT_01.png in my textures folder \Final Fantasy VII\textures\Limit , it might be from Avalanche I noticed it's the same file, so copied/renamed the HVSHOT_00.png into HVSHOT_01.png from your folder?

Leon, try creating a folder inside of the Magic folder called "Limit" and place the limit PNG you want to use in there. That's how mine is set up and it's working for me. Hope that helps!

If you have Avalanche installed, place the limit textures in:

I confirm I do not use Avalanche. I tried various staff, tried textures as mod path first, and grimmy's "data" folder then, both tries failed to work for my limit break (same results) What I don't get is how is it possible not to work now while it was working perfectly with the red fire around character. I'll try to delete jo_b03_00.png and see what happens. I also tried direct on and didn't work. :( :(

I don't use cache option in the opengl.cfg. Anyway I searched for cache and deleted it shoud I delete the whole folder? Or just the files inside?

There is something wrong with loading the limit break textures, appears to be just bright blank without the fire texture around the character. I don't know if it is the grimmy upscaled textures I placed in mod path or something else.

*UPDATE* I deleted the folder "data" that I got from grimmy (didn't replace anything) It still doesn't load limit break textures :(( like it's stuck!

*UPDATE* I tried copying only the images in my magic folder and seemed to work great but I still have problem with the limit breaks, though I'm suspicious that it doesn't read some other files too. I can't raw copy all .png files in the magic folder because it asks me to overwrite some. This means that I need to copy some files in another folder. I will try some changes but if someone knows better please help :)  Here I post a screenshot with my setup. Thank you!

*UPDATE* I copied all pngs as they are from each folder into the magic folder but kept both files when it asked to overwrite so there are some pngs with the same size renamed and with jo_b03_00.png not duplicate. I notice the difference in magic spells but limit break texture is still absent (I use the limit's flash V4 by kela51). I also noticed there are 2 .tex files 1.tex, baku1.tex which I replaced into the magic.lgp. I uploaded a video on youtube to see what's happening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFO8Mu5HmTc

I set my vids to a new name or delete and it works perfect.

Ok worked. Maybe the dummy video was preventing the prelude from loading (Issue solved). I'm dealing with a limit break texture issue now. Was working fine until i added the grimmy's updated "data" folder into the Bootleg mod path. it's like it's stuck and doesn't load textures correctly for limit breaks, appears just the bright texture without the fire... but that's another issue.

You can rename/delete the movie files. Otherwise, there can't be any command line tool for FF7 because FF7 does not support it. There are multiple reasons, but this one is enough to say now.

I know this is a touchy issue to involve with but is quite strange that when I use a dummy video for sqlogo.avi or just delete it or rename it the screen doesn't skip to the prelude but directly to the loading screen. So you obligatory have to use some video to watch maybe because it is the logo video and they did it on purpose for not deleting it. Thanks for replying anyway... :)

There is something wrong with loading the limit break textures, appears to be just bright blank without the fire texture around the character. I don't know if it is the textures I placed in mod path or something else.

*UPDATE* I deleted the folder "data" that I got from you (didn't replace anything) It still doesn't load limit break textures :(( like it's stuck!

*UPDATE* I tried copying only the images in my magic folder and seemed to work great but I still have problem with the limit breaks, though I'm suspicious that it doesn't read some other files too. I can't raw copy all .png files in the magic folder because it asks me to overwrite some. This means that I need to copy some files in another folder. I will try some changes but if someone knows better please help :)  Here I post a screenshot with my setup. Thank you!

*UPDATE* I copied all pngs as they are from each folder into the magic folder but kept both files when it asked to overwrite so there are some pngs with the same size renamed and with jo_b03_00.png not duplicate. I notice the difference in magic spells but limit break texture is still absent (I use the limit's flash V4 by kela51). I also noticed there are 2 .tex files 1.tex, baku1.tex which I replaced into the magic.lgp. I uploaded a video on youtube to see what's happening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFO8Mu5HmTc
