Oh it seems we share the same issue, did you find any solution to this? EQ2Alyza gave me a hint on how we could fix the problem here: http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=17612.0

I never found a solution but it does look like the exact same error.  Looks like it is a known bug at least.  Any luck?

I believe the [Difficulty] + The Reunion is just the Beacause portion of Reunion.  The other Reunion options you will select from the appropriate Reunion IRO if desired.  You will also need to set your 7H client to use the ff7_bc.exe instead of the normal FF7.exe.  Do note, that there are some random encounters that may cause the game to lock up with some of the difficulty mods.  In my case, a battle scene in the Mt. Nibel area caused my game to crash when I had Hardcore + Beacause selected.  To proceed, you will need to select just the difficulty mod without Beacause selected, then change it back after you pass the section.

Many settings are disabled for low post count users because of a serious spam problem we had for a while. I can't remember where the exact line is drawn, but it is definitely based on post count.

It looks like the magic post number is 15.  :-)  I am now able to remove the stock kitten image and replace it with my avatar.  Thanks again!

Zara, you're spamming every thread asking for assistance with a mod that is known to be broken in its current state.  EQ2Alyza has mentioned she is looking into it and will try to find a fix when she has the time to do so.  She is ONE person supporting the 7th Heaven catalog.  Please be patient and a fix will likely come in time.  If it is really important to you, try posting in the Troubleshooting section of the forum and perhaps another member with mod knowledge can assist.  That's a way better option than hijacking someone else's post.

Any chance you have a list detailing the individual changes, additions, etc. made by the hardcore mod?  I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find anything.

By the way, you're a sadistic man.  Those dragons at Mt. Nibel are no joke...  I spent a good hour trying everything I could think of to put a dent in them to no avail.  I'm not a glutton for punishment so I figured they're not meant to be beaten unless you're maxed out, if at all.  It's a good thing there's a save point right next to them because they wiped the floor with me, lol.

I think I have a theory as to why this crash occurs with Hardcore + Beacause enabled...  Gjoerulv created a new enemy that shows during the #581 battle scene along with two Kyuvilduns.  I'm guessing this new enemy is not referenced correctly in the Beacause script.

Mod request:  Any chance you'll be able to add the overworld map options present in Reunion R03e so we can pick between the olde style or the HQ style?  I noticed this option is not present in the current R04c release and hope it isn't forgotten about.  The olde style was a great mod!  Thank you!

Gjoerulv, I've encountered an issue with the Kyuvilduns enemy in Mt. Nibel.  When battle scene #581 (three Kyuvilduns) tries to load, FF7 crashes.  I have mods installed via 7th Heaven (including Hardcore mod), however I've tested multiple scenarios and narrowed it down to either The Reunion R03e or the Hardcore mod as the culprit.  Has anybody else reported this issue?  Thank you for the hard work!  Loving the changes in Hardcore mod!

EDIT:  It's an issue with The Reunion - Beacause + Hardcore mod together.  After testing with Hardcore mod and no Beacause, I was able to enter battle with scene #581.

It's Hardcore + The Reunion causing the crash.  Not sure if it's anything you can fix or if I should assume it's an issue with changes made by gjoerulv's hardcore mod?

EDIT:  Hardcore standalone works fine.  Hardcore + Beacause crashes.

Tested alternate Animation options to no avail.  Still crashing with that single battle.  Going to try toggling the Gameplay mod options next.

In vanilla FF7, no mods enabled, the encounter that registers as scene #581 in APP.LOG is with three Kyuvilduns.  These are the green grasshopper-looking enemies.  I have a hunch that the 60FPS mod may be causing it, so I'll try changing my Animation mod options and report back.  Thanks again for your help!

No change in behavior after disabling all battle-related mods.  The crash only happens when battle scene #581 is called.  I've successfully entered battle with scene #583, as indicated by my APP.LOG.  I will attempt to enter battle in vanilla FF7 to see if I am successful in figuring out which enemy grouping is causing the crash.

EQ2Alyza, thank you a ton for all your work with 7th Heaven!  I'm a long-time lurker in the forums and seldom post as I rarely have anything to add lol.  I've encountered a game-ending crash on my way to Mt. Nibel.  It seems to be crashing whenever battle scene #581 is called.  Any chance you can tell where the problem is occurring?  Below are the details of my mod selections and my APP.LOG.
