Sorry, Destiny was right :-P. But I did manage to have an Immortal Cloud by changing some hexdecimal in Kernel.bin2. Thanks to Destiny for his advice. :-D

There're two ways of how the characters can be swapped. First is by replacing character files in Char.lgp with the character files that you want to swap. Meaning that you have to extract Char.lgp file with LGP.tools first and you need to identify each of character files in Char.lgp. The other way is by changing some hexdecimal in ff7.exe with any hex tools. I personally prefer the second alternative as it's so very easy and quick.

Yes, you can have an immortal but controlable Sephiroth. I did it already and it works. All you have to do is altering Cloud's Ai at 0x61C by changing hexdecimal from 1800 to 1400 (If you change to B204, then Cloud will be uncontrolable). After that, change Sephiroth's Ai (unfortunately I don't remember, so I have to recheck) by changing hexdecimal from B204 to C204. That's it, now you will have an immortal controlable Cloud. If you want to swap Cloud to Sephiroth, you can change it by changing some hexdecimal in ff7.exe.

Does anyone know how to increase enemy encounter in field or map in FF7 instead of using the enemy encounter materia???

At last, I had found the hex decimals (not really exectly) to make the main char (Cloud) invinsible in battle which the char will not take any damage and has unlimited MP. But however, the char needs to take a single hit before he change into invinsible mode. That's really annyoing me and I'm still searching the right decimal so that the char become invinsible as soon the battle start.

I even found out that the limit break of each chars can be swapped by changing the right hex decimals in Kernel2.bin (or kernel3.bin). When I'm in the process of trying to find the hex decimal so that my char become invinsible in battle, I found out something really interesting - as soon as the battle start or each time Cloud takes a single damage from the enemy, he will cast BEAST FLARE (Vincent 1st Limit Break) . I even accidently discover by randomly playing with the hex decimals that each time Cloud take a single hits from the enemy, he will counter attack with his 1st Limit Break (Braver or Cross Slash) even though his Limit bar is not full. :-D

Yup, Destiny was right. I somehow manage to get control of Sephiroth just by changing 1 byte hex data in Kernel3 (actually mine was Kernel2 because kernel file starts with kernel0, kernel1, kernel2 and so on). But I would like to ask Destiny another question. What is the offset for Cloud's AI?? I'm thinking of swapping Cloud's AI with Sephiroth's AI. I really appreciate if you can help me with this problem. Is it at 0x61c??? :?

Destiny, please show me where's Sephiroth's AI in ff7.exe ?
Right now, I only manage swapping Cloud with Sephiroth by changing some hex data in ff7.exe. But still, the character (Sephiroth) will has Cloud's AI. Meaning that the character will take some damages and his MP is limited. I really hope that somehow I can use and control the real invinsible Sephiroth which he will not take any damage and has infinte MP. Destiny, please help me with it ?? I'm still clueless??

I don't really think that when you change Sephiroth's data in Kernel3, you can exactly control sephiroth in battle. Why? It's because changing kernel3 will only change character stats. So can anyone please tell me where is exactly Sephiroth's AI? Is it in ff7.exe?

Hi guys.

I just want to tell you all that we can actually start the new game with cloud equipped with masamune. I mean the real masamune. If just anyone can tell me how to upload file to this forum, then my statement can be proven and you all can experiance playing cloud or sephiroth equipped with masamune.  :-D

Hi there

I'm quite interested with your proposal. Well, as for your information, I'm myself still trying to figure out the codes / hex codes of the limit break menu command. What had I found out so far is the command for the limit break is placed in kernel.bin0 in KERNEL.bin file. Still working on it and I will let you know if I manage to find something new regarding to the limit break command.

Ha..ha..ha.... :-D I think there's misunderstanding here. What I mean is I want to know the codes that make Sephiroth invinsible in battle during Cloud's flashback in Nibelheim. Anyway, can someone tell me how to upload a file to this forum? I want to upload a char file which I made some modification so that everyone in this forum might want to try some of my work.

Actually, it is still cloud. But I made some changes to the character movement meaning that I had change all Cloud's movements with Sephiroth's movements. As for the results, the Sephiroth's (Cloud) attributes look like real Sephiroth. Still, I wonder why the real Sephiroth in battle cannot be damaged by any attacks from all monsters?

Hi there....

I'm a hard die fan of Sephiroth. Even when I'm plying FF7 in PC, I never use Cloud as main character. Using some Sephiroth patch with little modification, I manage to make a true sephiroth field character by replacing Cloud.

Recently I found a codes in kernel.bin file which enable any characters can equip masamune sword. Right now, I'm still searching a codes in the kernel.bin file that make Sephiroth invincible in battle (no damage induced by any attacks). Does anyone know which codes can make Sephiroth become invincible in battle?

Hi there Scorpicus,

I'm really interested with your private tools that could edit the kernel.bin file. Can you please share your tools so that I could try editing the file. Here is my email:
