I keep crashing whenever I try to talk to someone. The error msg pops up before the dialog box appears.

Dude, it's simple. Create a modpath (if you haven't already) in your \Final Fantasy VII\mods folder (basically it's just making a new folder, if you avalanche already created, use that!). Make 2 new folders called "battle" and "world" in your new folder. Put the battle files in your battle folder and put the world files in your world folder. After that, your configuration should look like this once you have open it. For example, here's mine:

And don't forget to turn off the cache.

Final Fantasy Tactics > Tactics Ogre

Final Fantasy Tactics was based on Tactics Ogre though, so I guess I should give it a try.

FFT is VERY unique than the other Final Fantasies. I loved playing that game. You should really try it, you won't regret it!

And if he's using the Ultima Version, wouldn't he be getting a different error message that mentions about the disks needs to be inserted in?

If you use a modpath, they should be in your modpath\menu folder.

If you don't use a modpath, they should be in your Final Fantasy VII\textures\avatar folder.

You know, I never got my avatars replaced whenever I'd put them in \textures\avatar

I can see that APZ Freak was indeed mentioned in the credits but I probably bet he stoled or ripped his work (which is a no-no) and that's one of the reasons why kula's models aren't allowed in this forum, otherwise it could get this forum into trouble. And I apologize if I was being aggressive towards you, man
