Troubleshooting / 7th heaven 2.0 Download speeds

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I have allowed 7th heaven through my firewall ran as admin etc. and still it seems I am capped at 180kb/s D/L speed which is sad because that means it's going to take 12 hours JUST for the media mod to D/L. are there any fixes for this? I have read through a few posts like this however I could not find one with a clear answer.

7th Heaven / Music not playing on VGM

So if I set my driver Aali settings to VGMstream I get no sounds and my mods work yet if I change it to none it comes up with an error saying media plugin failed to load however the music and sounds work but all the other mods don't, I couldn't find an answer to fix this anywhere so here I am posting. I have uninstalled and redone the whole installation process again and that didn't fix it.

Edit1: there is now a sharp sound when I open the game yet to figure this out, I checked my gamedir and all my .ogg music files are there under FINALFANTASYVII\music\vgmstream. just in case i copied all the music files into my data\music and data\music.ogg folders however both of those didn't produce sound either.

7th Heaven / downloading error

I am unable to download any mods as it just keeps coming up as an error message, the first error I was able to work out and enabled my log but now I am getting a new one but I am unable to figure out what's wrong with this one.

7th Heaven / Mod Catalogue not showing any mods

So as the title says I have followed the instructions did the patch, set all the file paths and put in the subscription url "iros://Url/http$pastebin.com/raw.php?i=dDBkYkDu" in the settings however when I try and update the catalogue it shows no sign of updating and when I hit search or refresh it does nothing and shows no mods. The 7th heaven exe shows that it can be updated to 1.57 however it fails everytime I try that and the download link from the modding tutorial is 1.56 so i can't uninstall and just install the newer version as I can't find it.
