After i updated to the latest using the char.lpg from page 20 and the 01.lpg from the OP, i started to see many white parts such as sephiroths hands when hes holding a book, some random NPC heads... Is this an error, or did i do something wrong?

I had the white blobbing errors also

I fixed these by running the ff7 config...

Make sure that you are not using direct 3d acceleration.....

save and close.....

re run the reg file for aali's driver....

This fixed the problem for me.......

Woah woah.  That sounds like a kernel issue.  I use ff7music so I just copied over the .lgps into my data folder and issues like that could literally would never happen.
So I know if you copied and renamed the lgps over then uninstalled that would solve that issue but there may be features I don't know about you want with the installer.  If I knew more about it I would offer some better advice.

World map models are in the wm_us.lgp, so you most also put your model there as well as the char.lgp.

01.lgp is the wm_us. The prp doesn't change the menu

Wrong to both of them
00.lgp is the char.lgp and chocobo.lgp and 01.lgp is the rest on the mini games and the menu and the world LGP's
People who move the 00 & 01 LGP's lost about 20 models or so
And a mod Menu

So i don't need to convert oo.lgp -> char.lgp and 01.lgp -> world_us.lgp?

Edit: can anyone tell me how to fix the white hand thingy in ff7 prp?

Try running ff7config.

Disable direct 3d hardware

Re run aaliis reg file

and run ff7 as admin.

*if using ff7music. Run that first but manually start ff7 as admin

Thanks for the correction ice_cold. I never had luck with the prp.exe, so I never knew that the mini games & menu had been moddified.

hey there, I've been having the same issues as most with the materia flickering, and I've tried replacing the materia model, but it *still* flickers. When I read the thread, I discovered that this was put into the animations on purpose, so my question is, in which animation file(s) is the blinking contained? And if I were to remove it, would I need to replace or delete the animation files?

Also, field Barret's face seems to encounter similar flickering. Is this also caused by an animation file? And if so, which one?

I don't know about the materia, but flickering heads is caused by the blinking animation. The easy fix is to open the model in kimera, select the head, then add part to the bone, select the the head and add it again. I think you have to delete one of the texture groups attached to the head. Sorry to be so vague, but I did this fix over a year ago.  To kill the flickering materia you can just use the materia from the original lgp.

hi there i am a new member here and a fan of ff7 and i don't mean to be demanding in any way but is it possible for someone to redesign the heads of all the battle models except cloud so that they could look more realistic maybe, just the heads alone. Thanks in advance for any info, When i say battle models i mean the ones you play as
