I did get some stuttering and severe frame rate drop. This seemed to only effect cutscenes though. I enabled frame skip, set to auto. Now a few of the scenes do show some slow down but it's tolerable. First scene with the issue, which caused me to poke around the options for a fix was when

Hey so I wanted to ask you that is the game running flawlessly for you after applying the textures or do you feel stuttering and flickering sometimes? When I don't apply the texture mods the game works fine for me, but after applying the texture mods, the audio and sometimes videos stutter on me. I do need help with this issue tbh ^^"

Back then, I thought my 'haxxoring' was pretty **** hot. Now, it seems to me just ****. If you think the skill ceiling is moonjump and teleport codes, think again. I think you're really going to need to get back to basics on machine-level operations. Practicing low-level programming - perhaps simple IO stuff with C (not ++), and then learning about stacks and registers might be a good introduction.

It certainly did a lot for me.

are you guys saying that to me or sithlord48??IF you are talking to me then no,i dont know ASM hacking since i haven't advanced to that level till yet and well I'm happy with my life although making codes for a game is not as easy as you think since i think ill let u make some codes for a game and lets see if you can make it ^^

It is weird?? really?? well i think it isn't since mostly square leaves some extra rooms in the game like in BBS he left a room of jungle book in the game but he took it out from the story mode as you cant go in that world unless by ROM hacking so i think its understandable ^^"
Well i thought it was slightly weird because it doesnt seem to really serve any purpose, i mean the debug room's are proberly for the creators of the game to use but i just dont see what that event would be for, and why would they remove stuff like the extra rooms in the hunnybee inn but leave that in.

well maybe they were jus too lazy to remove them again XD but its good for us like how we can roam in these things and find out extra places/rooms for the game

The Phs Mask Does Not Contain An Entry For Sephiroth. So Its Not Possible. you can add him to your party he' s 0x0A IIRC, but you can't control him and there is nothing i can do about that in the save game to make him contolable.

Wow good work!! So the mp can also be edited to 32767?? Wouldn't that cause an error for the game??

it shouldn't cause one as long as you have dizugo's patch , if you don't the game might not like it.i have yet to test it with out the patch installed. but i suspect at very least the PC version will be ok w/ it.

well i hack codes for games myself so i know his ID is 0A and i think i do know how to control him ;)

try using this code it would put Sephiroth in the third slot and he would be controllable try it and tell me the result although it should work

I know thats what the background is from but i wonder why they left that event in the game, it just seems weird.

Wanted to know if the teleport codes only work for the world map or also the in the field??
The teleport codes currently only work in the field (if you view the video i posted you will see it in action and see how it teleports you from 1 location to another)
i am working on a world map teleport code for the next version.
let me know how you get on with it, any feedback is welcome and will be helpfull.

Yes and No, its completely possible(and i have even tested it w/ his patch) but to avoid breakage w/ non modded games the cap for the Hp/Mp boxes are set to 9999/999.

progress update
v.1.0 is now nearly finished. here are some changes that have taken place.
NEW: Edit Almost all In-game options. Controller mapping Is Incomplete,and locked to protect your save from breaking, look for that after v1
FIXED:Chocobo editing now works. can even add new chocobos. Two more vars to set on a chocobo to be 100% complete
CHANGED: hp /mp box caps are now set to 32767 to work with dziugo's patch.
              almost every "apply" button has been removed.only the ones for item/materia changes remain.
GUIs Getting a Slight Re-do.

Other Save Related News:
PSV file editing might be possible soon. (yea i said it.) I've only done some simple tests but so far it looks possible. More on this when i get my hands on a ps3 to do some testing. Just know i am working on this for a future version.


Nice work man ^^ also any guess if Sephiroth can be allowed in PHS since after Aerith dies i used the Chocobo editor and checked every box that who should be in the PHS and well surprisingly Aerith was in the PHS although she was dead ^^ so any guess if you can add Sephiroth there too??

OK guys i just finished version 0.7, i have added a basic teleport code which should allow you to teleport around to most of the main locations in the game (if i missed any locations, or if you want adding please feel free to request it here and i will see what i can do about it).
But be warned to save you game before teleporting since it can have some weird effects (like if you teleport back into the reactor you can end up battling air buster again and going back through the meeting Aries in the slums part of the story line again)
(this only works in the field and NOT on the worldmap or in battle)

I have also added the ability to control Sephiroth as a mortal and as immortal and corrected his weapon to 0.7.

Also added Instant Battle which allows you to battle ruby,diamond,emerald weapons at any time and as many times as you want.
(the battle loops until you use the "deactivate instant battle")
(this only works in the field and NOT on the worldmap or in battle)

Also added the ability to access the game menu at any time in the field so you can access the menu even when people are talking etc

Also thanks for those flags Bosola, that helped a little with my infinite HP+MP (and will probably help with some of my future codes) which i might add in future versions if needed.

Unless you intend to heavily mod the engine (which I doubt you're capable of at your current level) to support those and remodel the hell out of millenia's work, that's not gonna work. Come back when you'll acquire a lot more experience with smaller and easier hacks, and only then try again.

well im a newbie in modding the files but i do have on hacking codes for games like codebreaker or AR Max and etc.

well to edit the PSX models do you really need to decompress them ? biturn can open the original LZS compressed PSX models.

also also i found this patch on the net and it kinda makes you have control on Sephiroths action so have a look if u want to ^^

Well i suppose i could add it into a future version to allow the user to switch between Sephiroth and Vincent but it probably wont be for a while since the code has a few small issues i need to work out (like for example since i use Vincents slot it uses Vincent's weapons stats so i need to find a way around this).
Also the Turning Cloud into Zack thing really isn't in the scope of this project, But you could probably do it yourself if you just look at the file reconstruction project to see which files are which and just switching them.

Well ill be looking for your updates and also cant the wall market do that since it can tell the game that which character can equip which weapon so i think we can replace Vincents weapons and etc.

edit: works fine, cept this one bug, i changed the name of a weapon (nail bat to loveless with that one mod) and it won't save the name or the information that i apply to it. any reasons why?

hmm i might be able to help you but i searched everywhere but i couldn't find the option on how to rename weapons

No i haven't added this feature yet, with my current code i can add Sephiroth to the party but he is uncontrollable (like he is in the past) and also takes up Vincent's Slot and Status so i decided it was best not to add this code just so that people can still use Vincent if they want.

Kinda cool, I guess, if you think this game is too hard...   :roll:
Well i only really made this for a bit of fun, i also don't find the game that hard but since i have played the game so many times i often find the cheats to be either fun or usefull when replaying.

I am also working on a teleport code to allow people to jump all over the world map (which isn't really that usefull later in the game due to chocobo's and the Highwind).

Well i checked and no it doesn't do that but to bring Sephiroth into the party use this code

for the pc version the weapons (if you are referring to the weapons of each char not the monsters) are stored at battle.lgp, just next to each character files, near the end. If you open the sheet and search buster sword or any weapon it will take you where the weapons are. Sorry I can't give you details about the psx version, I haven't worked on it ^^'

Thanks for telling me the weapon location for the PC version and yea I'm talking about the characters weapons not the monster weapons XD and also i found out where the weapons are in the PSX version they are in the battle folder and inside the .lzs file of the character,example: CLOUD.lzs file has both clouds model and its weapons

well when creating the ISO it doenst gives me any problem but when playing it on epsxe,now that gives me a problem since it doesn't load the game
That's because Ultra ISO corrupts the image...

First, you don't drag and drop files for replacing them inside an ISO, but right click and select the "Import file..." option. Second, if that option doesn't appear, you're using an incorrect version of CDMage that doesn't come with file replacement (1.02.1 BETA).
