No, it's not normal. What's happened is that the wrong encounters are being loaded. This is either due to the kernel not being patched properly (symptom of a bad 7th heaven install) or another mod has changed the encounter table in the fields. If you're using 7H could you tell me what other mods are on?

lol it was quite the experience, the kind you know you're about to die, no matter how many times you throw that Phoenix Down  :-D

 I think it could have been ''Gameplay - Difficulty and Story'', I just selected Lucky Tifa and cutscene skip though. I removed it now, so far I didn't have any strange encounter. Will report back in case I do.

So I've started with this mod on Recommended difficulty (although I have no idea what both of them do).
I'm encountering Guard Scorpion in the field (first mission), it's doing about 9k plus damage and I can't escape. A death note basically.
Then on my third try I encountered Zangan(?), I have no idea why, but he too did a ton of damage and I can't escape.
Is this normal??

I downloaded  the 1.56rc6 and I'm getting the Oops thing.
I tried a different shader, and I have also tried disabling it. Now even in a new game, so basically it's not just Mt Nibel!
The game worked perfectly fine. The only new mods I put on are the up-scaled mods.

I think I got confused about models, and removed them from the latest IRO. Will reinstate them on next build because I think model replacers will overwrite them rather than being overwritten.

Other mods can be applied but I think Reunion and Beacause were incompatible to a degree.

That would be amazing, I really like the more refined models and little details like Tifa's earrings, Cloud's darker colour-scheme etc. If I can get them manually from somewhere let me know, to save you the trouble.

I've watched Youtube videos of this mod and it looks fantastic.
I have 7th Heaven so I downloaded it and it works. Only problem I'm seeing is that the character models remained the same, why could this be happening?
Also, are there any other mods I should apply, like Beacause and Reunion?

I see the post-processing window and check-box but I don't have a drop-down menu. I'm using 7th Heaven 1.52.
From manually going to the shaders file, I'm assuming I should try all '' .post '' files like:
shaders/SmartBloomAdvanced.post orshaders/Bloom2Dark.post correct?

How can I try a different shader? I'm currently using ''shaders/SmartBloomAdvanced.post''
I'm currently replaying the whole game but with the mod, the only place I had an error is at Mt Nibel. Sometimes an encounter works and other times it just simply crashes/hangs. I'm not entirely sure about other place yet.

My game is somehow crashing when I get an encounter in Mt Nibel. The battle song plays but the screen remains black. On my second try the battle encounter worked but on the next encounter it crashed/hanged again. Any reason why this is happening?
I'm using the ff7.bc

Hi everyone,
This is my second attempt in modding FF7.

I installed FF7 from steam, into D:\Games\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII and I managed to get Game Converter to work.
I first started using 7th Heaven v1.54 but I couldn't get the game to start, giving me a long ERROR5 something. I found a v1.52 and I got the game to start up but with issues.

So upon starting the game I get an error saying  Postprocessing initialization failed, check APP.LOG for more information, then the game starts.
The mods seem to work, apart from the field background (looking terribly ugly, stretched and pixelated) and the music for some reason isn't playing (that's until Cloud goes into the first battle with two soldiers). The music might have stopped because I skipped the cut-scene.

7th Heaven / Screen Resolution Issues With 7th Heaven

Hey everyone,

I installed the 7th Heaven mod and followed all the steps. However every time I go on full screen the game is zoomed in, no matter what I do with the settings it won't change.
