i didn't now that the mod scene was this big for a game of 12years and i like what people have done with ff7 because it does need a overhall just nothing to big and i would like to help make 7 a better looking game(because that is all it needs)i have ff7 for the PC and i downloaded the remix patcher and i like wot i saw it runs sweet by the way thanks again
What OS is better? Vista or Windows 7?
Coz my cousin said that 7 is lighter on files.. cost less disk space..
I am thinking oof upgrading my os from vista to 7..
Sorry, I don't have it anymore. I used it a couple months back but no longer have that computer.PSXMemTool v 1.19b
Tried to find a download, and the authors download section is down. Therefore, I searched around and still can't find a working download for PSXMemTool v 1.19b.
Could you possibly upload that?
Thanks!
No it will not do that. I am not sure what patch does that. I think the 9999hp patch
Turn on fancy transparency in aali's driver.
They're automatically in the installer, but... in Proud Clod or WallMarket, click file....apply patch.
Ahh Thanks and Will do good sir.Alright, v2.5 is finally here!
I haven't been able to trace the root of the flashback dragon targeting glitch, but I did implement a workaround in this version.
Also, Aali's driver, gjoerulv's mod, and the Graphical Overhaul have all been updated.
I'll release new updates as I find reason to.
The installer is up as of now, and the upgrader link will be up and running soon enough.
Is the Hotkey to skip cutscene patch in this also? j/w
and If it is which key is the hotkey? (I already using 2.4 of ur installer Nice work haha )
I think it's either ctrl+s or alt+s... Keep in mind the music will have a delayed start if you skip the opening cutscene, since it's cued to start when the cutscene ends normally.
Thanks for making this incredible package. Made it really easy to install all the cool things haha
I'm putting this on my USB Drive along with my FF7 back-ups just in-case if my discs break and if my comp needs reformatting.
Edit:
Just got the following error while trying to install the upgrade from 2.4 to 2.5 package.Code: [Select]CRC failed in textures\WMRP\maps\midlmap_00.png
Unexpected end of archive
Yeah the upgrader isn't fully up yet, it's still uploading at 81%, it'll be done by 2:30 AM EST
The host migrated the server to new hardware, sometime during last night, Yuropean time. The latest downtime some of you might have noticed was due to the switch.
It would appear to be running quite fine.

Here, this is the tool you really want, PSX Game Edit
Open it up, go to File>Open Single Save File, and open the file you got from ulaunchelf off your PSX Memcard, then you can save it as a .mc or one of the other formats that is supported by ff7saveconverter, and use that.
That's what I did, and it works great, just a little tedious, but I can deal with that

PSXMemTool v 1.19b
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question:
Are the Aali's drivers graphics drivers that will overwrite my graphics card's drivers, or is it just used for the final fantasy?
Thanks for the answers for the other questions.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it out.
I'm assuming since it installs in the final fantasy directory it wont overwrite anything.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you.
This is a strange bug that doesn't really harm gameplay if a key is rebound but its really weird so I thought I'd ask if anyone had any experience with it, I can confirm this happens on FF7 1.0 , FF7 1.2 and (slightly differently) in FF8 1.2. I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 on a fairly new Alienware laptop, the problem is that when Right Shift is held down the game interprets it as a combination of key presses (and it doesn't matter what keys those are actually bound to, the shift still triggers them), in FF7 it counts as Confirm, (The key that toggles the minimap display) and Up Arrow, in FF8 it seems to count as Pause and Cancel. Does anyone have any idea what the heck causes this (and someway to stop it, having to be very careful not to touch the Right Shift is a little weird) ?
Thanks
