FF7 Tools / Kimera: FF7 p model simple editor

Alright. I am getting really pissed off.
I am trying to make a character, like my own, from existing FF7 parts...
here is my W.I.P Shot..



but the issue is, when ever i save that model.. i get an error.. 424
and when i try to use the paint option i get errors.. ...and this is for all kimeras......
well 84b, 90,90a,90b, 91, 91a

and i only started getting issues last night.....
 when i replaced the guard scorpion with Dyne... animations.. AI and all..
i don't know if that has any weight in what the  problem is....

i re-downloaded... and no go..

i don't know what the issue is.. :S

the model saves sometimes.. been when it does save.. i cannot open it again.. it gives me a run time error.

same issue, different sizes.
I am going to test it in game, to see if it works.

(edit... removed image....)

basically when i over wrote the menu_us.lgp
the original was 1.62 mb... and the new one was 1.37 mb.

when i try to apply your patch.

I follow the instructions to the letter. And nothing happens when i test it in game.

the only two things that seemed to have changed is the Menu_US.lgp got smaller when i applied your patch,
and tifa's avatar is just a blank blue space now.

okay i did everything in the instructions...and well no go.

The  only difference is that now tifa's avatar is missing.
And that the menu_us is like half the size of the original.

i had everything in a folder i named GUI.. it was on my desktop.. i just followed the instructions in the download... and the patcher thing took like 4 mins yeah.. i watched it, it copied over all the files..

i put the lgp files back where they bolong.. put that... battle tex. thing, i think it was seffect1.tex.. or something where it belonged.
do i put the textures in aali's texture folder? Or what? Cause i just left everything apart from the lgps and seffect1tex. in the GUI folder.

well when i copy them over, they are all the same size.

i forgot to copy the textures to my ff7 folder...

I know i am probably going to get flamed for this, but i don't really feel like, reading through 40 pages of.... well pages. XD.

But, is there a download link with, ALL of it in it. Or do i have to go through it and wheedle out all the individual textures?

which i am quite willing to do, but, i don't want to waste my time, needlessly.
And the first post was last updated 3 days ago.. does that have all the major stuff?
or is it all in the last download? Or what? I don't know why i am confused over this.

The chibi Sephy was made from the KHII model, so it can't be released :cry:

I don't think that Jenova is in that game, so maybe that would be releasable...

Thats not quite what i was asking, i knew that sephi was from KH2 lol.
And I would love it if he released the jenova head... >.>

Pardon me APZ. Well i just took a look at a lot of your work recently. >.>, i have to say, your item models are just plain cool. xD... I especially like the key cards, no idea why tho.

well anyways, i was just wondering, you know that image with four shots of your chibi sephi (i am not asking you to release anything), you know the one that is holding the jenova head . Did you model the jenova head from scratch? Cause it is very good work. xD...

I believe the textures have to be in multiples of 512 by 512 pixels? Please correct me if i am wrong, i haven't really worked in that aspect of FF7.

yeah, i quite like this.
Because all the save game collections i can find, have the entire party at level 99, all the materia is mastered, and the gil is at max...
Like when my PC crashed and i wanted to play from the beginning of disc two again, i had to start all over, due to all the save games had cheats.

and i never quite learned how to work the debug room... and Jenova couldn't reverse all the affects... of a "cheated" game...
so yeah.
