Hello, Kutsufatmo!

How is FF7 Refined shaping up? I'm not unfortunately able to offer any kind of technical assistance but there are many FF modders here and on Discord that could do that.

Have you talked to any of them?

Thanks for all the answers!

I have one more question, if you don't mind: have your restored background been upscaled by Satsuki, by any chance? if not, might I suggest proposing him to do it so that people that use his upscaled textures together with your True Honey Bee Inn modification will have consistent upscaled quality inside the game?

Cheers!

Hello, cloudiar!

I have watched the video you uploaded and I find this interesting. But I am not sure I exactly understand what it is you have done. Have you restored some Honey Bee Inn cut content from the original game?

Could you give us a little more information about the whole project?

And an additional question: is this the same restoration made by markul here: https://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=19022.0 ?

Thanks!

Unfortunately the original author's not been around for a whole year and chances are there won't be a new version of this neat modification.

I share FYolen's sentiment, by the way.

Nice update!

Thanks.

32
Oh I understand now.

Thanks for explaining this to me.

And thanks for updating your excellent version!

Marvellous work, Cosmos!

Thanks a lot!

I really like it, Reiletuag.

Did you read the report by Kuraudo about your first version having issues though?

Team Avalanche / Re: Project Edge (Jusete's field scenes)
« on: 2022-01-24 09:22:18 »
Hello jusete!

I´m doing the fields following the main story of the game. Most of the scenes i´m doing in Midgard have animations and they work fine, unless your are talking about other animations I´m not aware...

What I am talking about is this: https://githubhelp.com/julianxhokaxhiu/FFNx/issues/27

There are a number of fields where an animation should be playing. But upscaled background used to break this and the animation is replaced by a static texture. FFNx offers now an option to make them work again but at the cost of an extremely heavy FPS loss.

Those fields would be, in my opnion, the ones that would most need your replacing them because of this problem.

I hope I have been more clear now.  ;)

Godspeed and thanks again for your fantastic work!

Thanks for still offering to make the conversion for this, -Ori, even if the priority is low.

I still hope that Aavock will step up and produce a Reunion version though. Like you said, the original author would be the best person for this even considering that there are some artistic choices involved.

Cheers!

Beautiful work, jusete!

By the way, I have a question/request: I think it would be great if the scenes that include animations may be prioritized before any other because even if now there is a way to play the animations in the upscaled scenes, it seems that enabling that takes a huge performance hit on very powerful computers too.

I've also been advocating for a Reunion-compatible version of this.

I thought it was on the way to come a couple of months ago but it seems it didn't unfortunately pan out.

Hello, Urbanhack86.

I would recommend wictoriously's Avatar Pack (https://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=19450.0) to be included although it might be hard to get the original author's permission since it's gone missing for a few months and never posted much after her debut.

42
Hello, satsuki.

Thanks for the updates.

Is now the content of the .iro version identical to the content of the AIO pack?

43
satsuki,

will you consider including ninostyle's chibi models as part of SYW in the future? (if the original author would be okay with that, of course)

I am a huge admirer of his models and I am one of those who will surely want to use those as part of a graphics overhaul of the original game.

Cheers!

We do have some truly amazing talents in this (and other) FF VII community and l can but echo the sentiment of olearyf2525.

Really looking forward to the next progress here.

Thanks for sharing, Aavock!

chrome99001,

I tried sending you a PM but it failed because you cannot receive them. Is there a way for me to contact you privately?

Thanks.

Simply beautiful!

I like Satsuki's intro and l honestly cannot understand how a "reminder" that the game is modded can break atmosphere.

To me it has the opposite effect.

The game was made better through modding and I'm happy to be discreetly enough reminded about it. It's not like there's a permanent watermark to annoy the player with during game time, really. *That* would be breaking immersion.

We say we're all very grateful. Perhaps a small way to show it would be to "tolerate" the artist's signature video?

My eyes are not so well trained to spot much of a difference but I love the perfectionism behind your production, Aavock!

Keep it up!
