what's the point of it. i don't use the favorities on my broweser anyway. why would i use the one's on qhimm instead. looks like it's only taking up room on the server. does anyone use it?

On the main index that lists all the forums, at the very bottom, is a favorites list where you can "link" topics you want to keep tabs on, so then next time you come to the board, you can just look at the bottom to see if the topic has been updated/changed/whatever. It's like an instant link to your favorite topics on the main index page.

first, when'd you change your avatar seph? i'll add it to the ffvII avatar section at my site if you want.

why not just REMEMVER which thread you like or posted in? i find it unnessacary but i guess if you feel like using it. oh well

becuase there are several pages of threads in every section. for example: if youre looking for the threads on field files, theyre about 3 pages back on the Tech Forum. So, in order to access them, first you'd need to set the viewing level to "Show all Topics" then wait for the page to reload. After that, you'd have to search in the general vicinity of those topics, because they are constantly being moved back.

search "field files" it brings up every match in which the words field OR files are used. then click the box that requires both in the post. that phrase is used so much.....

NS 6.2 acutally loads way faster than 6.1... I'd say about 20-30 seconds with 6.1 and 6.2 loads in about 5-10 seconds.

And yes, it does look better. If you have QT handing the image, the image's background shows. (No 32-bit support). IE puts a gray border around the image. (Partial 32-bit support). And NS shows the background for the forums cause it has full 32-bit support. This means I can use it on any forum, and it'll always show the background, like it was rendered for that forum. T-GIFs always leave ugly "borders" around the images...
