Video mods File type help
« on: 2014-02-01 12:18:27 »
Haven't been on here in about 5 years so I`m a little rusty getting set back up.
Are we still stuck with using Truemotion when creating custom FMVs or has Aali`s driver sorted that out?

Truemotion isn't needed anymore, also FF7 Music can finally rest in peace.

Cheers thanks for the help.
Do I stick that back in the movie folder or do I put it into one of Aalis mod folders?

I`ve got some FMV`s I edited about 5 years ago but they look poor now on my new PC & Screen and I used Truemotion to re-encode.
I started a project called Genesis but it quickly ran out of steam because of the limited tools at the time I`ll upload them at some point.
I`ve just edited The Eidos logo at the start with a later version but kept the original sound. I`ll encode using the above settings and see how I get on currently just getting a black screen in game.
Was thinking of using Crisis core snippets for the Credits.

Oh Joy complete balls up now no videos are working even the originals but they will play in Media player so the codecs are defiantly working,

Still can`t get the games to run with Aalis driver didn't have a problem under Vista.
Only things I`ve changed are my Graphics card from 256mb NVDIA to 2gb ATI and I`m running Direct X 11 now instead of 9c

What graphics card drivers you have installed?
Have you already read this?
