Difficulties with 7th Haven

So, I'm really thankful for the existence of these mods, but I got to a point in which it is becoming really hard to play.

Loading times are taking forever, no matter what the game is loading for. It takes a while to go to the world map, to enter a city, to start a combat, to go from the combat to the world map again. And when I say "it takes a while", I mean it can go from 10 to 20 seconds.

The thing that I noticed is that the loading times are directly affected by the Direct Mode. While turned on, it seems that some partsof the game take forever to load. When turned off, the game runs SUPER smoothly, but unfortunately, the NPC Field Mods become the original Chibi mods.

Any clue? I could use some help.

You're probably duplicating the direct folder within the Extra Folders box in the 7H Settings and as a result, multiple folders are being loaded all at once. Don't worry about it now. A big update is coming to the Catalog and 7H that will change all of that.
