I didn't have a save in WM so I'm playing to it. I want to check the don and suit man see what the app.log says if it crashes.

Aali said " All I can tell you is that it's looking for the string "head" and then something goes wrong from there."

I found the problem.

All your new models have names like CSFD1.p when it should be CSFD.p, the original file name so when it is put into the extracted char it overwrites the original with the new on. otherwise they both exist and the game crashes. I got Man 16 working in game without face textures, hat or toes. So you just need to rename all the primary parts and then add to bone the extras. also the broken standing animation happened again, but I think it is caused by saving in Kimera.

Standing animation is definately broken by kimera, so don't include it with your files. I will finish fixing man 16 and send him to you.

a pic of man 16 in game. without hat and toes. but it's an easy fix
Edit: squallff8 you'll have to fix facial textures, I don't know that part yet.

Problem with man 16 is the hat, works fine with toe parts but the hat always crashes. I even tried merging the head and hat into one part and it still crashed. So whatever the problem is it's in the hat.

Squallff8 here is the man 16 I got working. textures are wrong and no hat, but it will load in game.

squallff8 hope you got the file because I removed it.

Here's my first model. It's Bugenhagen2, so I just used all of Bugenhagen's parts since it had already been done. The only difference is Bugenhagen2 doesn't have the green ball underneath him.

I have no idea. I renamed every part of your model copy and pasted them into the original man 16 files. Opened the original file to make sure the parts and bones where right and added the foot parts. That worked, but adding the hat broke it in game. That's all I know for now.

Fischkopf: try this

now go to your ff7\data\ffprp folder

you will find a 00.lgp and 01.lgp

rename the 00.lgp----> char.lgp
rename the 01.lgp----> world_us.lgp

paste the char.lgp into the field folder
paste the world_us.lgp into the wm folder

play the game with the original ff7.exe ( not the new ff7prp.exe )

If that doesn't work I'm unsure as to what the problem is.

Squallff8: I have been able to get man16 to load with the original textures, but they aren't in the right places, so maybe you could play with that. also a work around for man 16 is to not do the hat. Make him bald or some thing by adding the rest of the head.

Looks like i found the problem in textures:
I modefied them from original in Paint and converted them to Tex using Biturn.
In Borde's manual said that Biturn TEXes crashes  the game :|

The problem with Hat is stil not resolved :-(l

I was working on getting corneo working in game, great find on the tex files but it should be easy to redo them all bit omega. Which models have you got reformatted. I want to help but don't want us to be doing the same thing.

edit: I think you'll have to use the lgp tools method to create tex files that work in game.

Actually all this time i tried to make Man16 work in game.I forgot about other models. :-(

I was working on getting corneo working in game

You'll have trouble with Corneo mouth texture, becouse i changed it.Eyes must not make any troubles because i take them from Palmel without any change.

I'll make other models today.Or if you already have some plans then tell me.I'll make other one

edit: I think you'll have to use the lgp tools method to create tex files that work in game.

I tried this method, but in result i get a blank texture :? .Please make me step by step tutorial if you get success in this meythod

I'm having the same error with corneo. Trying to track down which part it is, so we can compare it to the man 16 hat and find out what the glitch is.

I've got corneo working in game with original textures, so they don't line up. It's slow going adding the extra parts to see which one glitches. I'll let you know what glitches when I find it.

edit: Cigar, hair, and belt crash the game, I have absolutely no idea why.

AT LAST!!!I MADE THIS WORK!!!

HIS HAT not crash the game!

The reason of this trouble in coloring:

When i'm coloring all my models in Kimera them become like in "NEW" sample.
Man16  hat was just a part of old model...i deleted rest of head of old Man16 model and add  hat to new model(I had no idea that this will make me troubles :-()

The same situation with Don Corneo:His Cigar,Hair & Belt are old models...i not recolored them and that's why game Crashes.

Now we have to make textures work

wow I found another way to make it work with man 16's hat. I used biturn converted to .obj, opened it in blender saved it as a 3ds, opened it in pc creator saved it as a .p, then opened it in kimera and recolored it. that worked but I'm sure it will take longer.

resize and send me the hat so I can see it's properties.
