Well DBZ was pretty cool when I was 13 and hadn't seen every episode 400 times already... and didn't realize how stupid it was that all these aliens travel to earth for no apparent reason (since it wasn't a very popular part of the universe it seemed)

Needles in the eye couldn't hurt worse than metal shavings in the eye...and you know how they get those out? the sit you in front of magnet... or occasionally take a pair of tweezers to you if it's a particularly large chunk...
