Ahahaha... a request heard from an unlikely source, a SquareSoft employee. Get the original one, then it'll work fine. Both VGS and ePSXe will work just fine with original CDs of course!

Hmm.. my current homepage is http://www.penjejakbadai.net" TARGET=_blank>http://www.penjejakbadai.net
Don't really have anything to do with it for now, except for hosting my FF9 patch file ( maybe also for the future ).

Also have a couple of other URLs but I let my friends use it for their website instead.

I found this page from a post at alt.games.final-fantasy.rpg newsgroup, when I try to find a certain FFVII program.

For basic HTML coding, Notepad is a good choice. But when it comes to using complex HTML coding ( nested tables, CSS, DHTML etc. ), it's better to use programs like Dreamweaver and Homesite. And Dreamweaver Student Edition is cheaper than standard ones.

A good program to convert bitmaps to JPEG pics is to use ACDSee. Programs like Adobe Photoshop also can, but usually such programs don't show the effects of the conversion right away. With ACDSee, you can preview what will happens if you convert the bitmaps to jpeg and to take appropriate actions such as decreasing compression etc. before starting the conversion process. And they do batch processing too. Neat program!

...and for some additional info, FF8 PC also sell very well, and also kick Unreal Tournament from the no.1 game sales chart in January and February 2000, a feat that even Quake 3 Arena could not do.

FF8 World Map is slow! I notice it too. It's due to only one thing; bad programming.

Couldn't really do anything about that. Eidos do a better job than EA, so I do think that Square should let them make the future FF games for PC at least.

The FF8PC FMVs will choke slower computers ( stuttering problems etc. ), I've experienced it myself. FF7 FMVs is on AVI format, so not too much processing power are needed.
Hmm, my computer is nearly the same as Amy:-

256MB RAM
GeForce2 Ultra 64MB
40GB x 2 Maxtor HDD.

It isn't a good idea to reveal your age to unknown people on the Net. But anyway, I'm older than you.
