Title: help for .uvw files in blender
Post by: Onito on 2009-08-01 16:52:03

When I edit my model and apply textures I save these textures in "uvw" but the program only allows me "tga" and I no longer know how to do this and I'm stuck at this point.
I would like someone to tell me know how to use blender in uvm save because I like doing what the tutorial says Namespoofer model conversion and Squeeble's reached the point of me not to save the textures are saved in the desired format (uvm).
Sorry for my terrible English. So I put it down in Spanish for me if someone can take a hand T_T
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Change the file name to whetever.uvw and click save. That seems to work, only problem I'm having is that PCreator says the UV cords don't match the number of vertices, so I'm stuck... sob, sob

Don't worry about the uvw, instead just make sure you already unwrap the uvw of the object with your 3d program, export it as a 3ds and when you open it in pcreator u should have the uv without having to add the uvw file

if you use blender to export the object directly to 3ds, there will be no uvs in Pcreator. So do this: export the object into obj format, then use biturn to convert it to 3ds, and the uvs will be kept.
