7th Heaven / Not getting any music or sound while attempting to run New Threat via 7 Heaven

Aside from a harsh squeaking noise as the game starts up. Aside from that, the game seems to run fine. Issue persists even when New Threat is the only active mod. I have tried using both Music plugins to no effect. I converted over from my Steam version although surprisingly I don't think I seen this brought up before but if you run the game through the steam version the game plays like before it was converted. I do not have a proper set of speakers, I do have a very effective pair of headphones that work just as well.
