i see unity mostly on a mmo browser game... like ffiv legacy for byond... you should make this mmo on browsers... i know it sounds stupid... but a ff7 world in a mmo state? it would be decent since the ffiv mmo game got pretty huge...

well... when i was diggin around the forums... ppl wanted "aerith" back but i noticed that espio had a aeris patch out so eh... might change yuffie into someone else... but anyways... the names are going to be replaced by hints in the quotes

If you use a modpath, they should be in your modpath\menu folder.
If you don't use a modpath, they should be in your Final Fantasy VII\textures\avatar folder.

thanks dark fang :D but im not using the custom driver since im on a old old computer XD im just editing the game to have 3 other characters that the people want without replacing cloud :D

for the avatar replace... i use omega which i found... after digging... finding a hoster who had a perm download link :/ but thank you :D but now i came across another problem... i tried replacing field model animations with cait sith and cloud... and its fine for like 4 seconds (standing & even walking)... then cloud's polygons looks all fucked up....

yes sir, it's as simple as placing a correctly named png in the correct mod path folder. Heck the mods board, there are some custom avatars released and it should help as a reference.

EDIT: now i goto the replacing part.... it seems that biturn doesnt like to convert back to ff7 format... it does but i see a blank avatar.... does anyone have the omega program? every link that i searched for is down

1 - In the LGP archive, make sure you replaced the good files
2 - Do you want help? Yes? Then please post a screenshot

All i did to cloud was change his colors of his fudgin clothes... and in the model programs... like kimera and biturn... i can see the textures on his face but when i go in to the game... his fuckin face looks like a cut out holloween mask... its pissing me off whats wrong wit this?

hey dont be man  :D i wanna make this mod because i also wanna use it too XD no one had it... so if you want something you got to do it yourself... and best of all your going to have people praise about your work too if it turns out good of course... i just hope someone with experience on models and stuff like that takes a look at my problem

no no it does... it might actually thank you... this might prove something... errrrr well im not using the custom drives cuz im using a really old computer my new computer crashed about a weekago... so im on a 800 mhz processor... i could get work done... but from what ive read... i think... i need to use the custom driver to edit or swap the models? that doesnt make sense... the other states that i need to use new textures... but that doesnt make sense either.... damn if i have to use the custom driver cuz i dont have open gl on this piece of sh*t... if thats the case... this mod might have to die

P.S. - Also shit... since im using my old computer im not going to be using the prp or graphic mods for now... also i would have to get the author's permission to use em on my mod... and also lol... im still a newb on using 3ds max

ya i know it does XD well alot of people released seperate versions... its just... mostly every mod replaces cloud... and its annoying... cloud is cool so he stays... but i still need help on the models... the freakin textures wont stay on the damn face! ITS MAKING ME MAD! >:(

BUGS:

HUGE!: @ Underwater Reactor when cloud hits the switch for the huge materia the game crashes... i think its because of "cait sith's" animation...
FIX: Switch Cait Sith With Someone Else

#1: "Cait Sith" has model bug animations... eh... nothing big... but its his jumping, tripping animations that have the problems... i dont know how to do this... nor fix also sometimes when he turns... stupid freakin cat...

Wallmarket can do that, but I think there'll be problems with the animations if you swap limit breaks. Go to:

initial data > character growth

ya i found out XD i use kimera alot... very useful :D

@yarLson ya i found this battle model and char index sheet :D lol again very useful

now i got to a problem i was using cloud as an example... and replacing zacks body with cloud... so after i did all that i came to where... clouds face is missing textures yet while viewing his model... you can see the mouth and eyes.... its kinda pissing me off now

Hi! Im kinda new here... so i was digging around here and there seems to be a situation where the public wants cloud to fight alongside with his teammates... not be replaced... anyways what im trying to say is im making a modification of replacing people the public doesnt want... but i still need help with it which is the models... I was using LGP tools by ficedula and as i open the lgp files... which is mainly "chars" & "battle" that i want to look at... i see unorganized textures and p files that makes me go crazy...  so my main question is...

i was wondering if anyone knows the texture and p files for vincent, cait sith, yuffie, aeris, zack, & sephiroth?
or is there a program where i can view the whole model itself and replace it like that?

anyway my progress on my mod...

Cait Sith -
COMPLETED: New Text Dialogue (When You First Meet Him), Has Cloud's Weapons
WORKING ON: Limit Breaks - Will have Some Of (Cloud's & Cait Sith Limit Breaks
Thinking Also Some of Tifa's Too...)

Yuffie: Hasnt Been Touched
Vincent: Hasnt Been Touched

I'll be replacing those three characters with 3 other characters (secret / should be easy to figure out)

I also have other questions...

The Libre Tool (Limit Break Tool)... can that allow to replace a other characters limit break? like
Cait Sith will have cloud's limit breaks? Would it also allow to have more than one charcter's limit break =)

This would also be easier if someone can point me to any mods that replace Cloud as Zack, Aeris, or Sephiroth so i could nab the textures and p files more easier thanks to apz i know what to look for as cloud...

I'm sorry for all this but... if i can complete this... the finished mod would be just great...
