Someone recommended to me that I release the new 1.56 version of 7H, but unfortunately it wasn't ready without the mod and game converter updates to come alongside it. There's a lot of minor issues happening that can be resolved after the catalog and game converter updates are released. I have most of them ready, so please wait on your play throughs while I organize everything and upload them to the download providers.

Try fiddling with the DPI settings under the exe Properties.

I haven't played through NT yet, so it could be a part of the mod.

That's not a bug. You've mixed together multiple installations without cleaning your registry, so now your lookup tables for the scene.bin are broken.

I'll release an update soon (this weekend?) that will hopefully fix your issue. It will make it so that only the original ff7.exe will need to be set and no longer require the ff7_mo.exe or ff7_bc.exe to be used.

7H injects into whatever folder you designate in the Workshop -> General Settings. That problem is a user error.

Select a shader in the drop down menu in 7H Aali Driver Settings and it'll be changed in the config file. No need to do that manually.

Not all the shaders will work though since they are highly untested across different hardware. If you experience continually problems, disable post-processing and the message will stop appearing.

Did you mean factors (1,2 3, 4, etc) instead of multiples (60, 120, 180, 240 etc.) of 60? Both 12 and 15 are factors of 60 :P

With what we currently have, it is. After this fully releases, if something new comes along that uses this same method (or better), then it will be added. The older mods will need to be retired to free up the limited storage space.

The shader files are in a newer build of the game converter that I haven't uploaded yet, so you won't see a list there. Disable post-processing for now to get rid of the message and wait until the game converter is updated.

It's added in the Tutorial as well.

I see. Well most of those tweaks were created for vanilla gameplay and LONG before this mod was even created, so they were never intended to work alongside most Gameplay mods. Sorry it didn't work out  :|

Direct mode is not written in the tutorial because the game converter installs a config file with it on.

Updated the Tutorial page with the latest build of 7H v1.56 RC6. It has pretty much all the features I listed in the OP of this thread.

Nothing within the Catalog has been updated yet because...1) I've been unmotivated (lazy) to continue work the past year or so on this project, but more importantly 2) I'm waiting for the next big projects to update (New Threat, Reunion, ReMako HD). All other smaller additions or changes to the Catalog were halted until those next big three released. Sorry if this bothers anyone. I do this because it's honestly really tiring to constantly update the Catalog with every little small change from every active mod in development. It's much easier to accumulate a list of small changes until a major mod update hits, then release everything in a big ball of excitement.

Considering how long it's taking for them to develop, if even one of those big three were to release an update, I'd probably update the Catalog to 3.0 at that point.

Sure. I didn't want to release until we had finished some other features and fixes, but it's been so long since we've worked on it that I forgot what they were  :-P

As soon as you release the field, battle, and world textures together, I will add them to the 7H Catalog. I believe this is superior to all prior texture packs, so I may just replace them all with Remako HD as the only definitive texture pack to download.

Note that when you change the drive letter, you need to run the game converter again so it can identify where it's going to read FF7DISC1.

Be sure that "movies" is typed into the Extra Folders box in the settings.

It's going to look a bit smudged, like an oil painting, but that's the pay off for trying to upscale and smooth out old textures.

If you're not using the Menu Overhaul option, then the menus won't change.

The settings in the 7H client has an area for extra folders. Type in direct there.

Hard to tell what the issue is. The game freezes and the controller becomes unresponsive? Where does it freeze ingame?
