Hey!
I have some problems with this mod (compilation).. :/ It does not start FF7. I use the german version and i did not find the multipatch you wrote about (in your 1st post).

I come to the ficedula music tool and then i click on "Run FF7" - Then the screen goes black and kicks me back to the desktop. :/

Windows 7 32-Bit - German.

Do you have the whole stuff without an installer too? I would like to do it step by step then..So i can use the new models etc, but have the same text.

check I've tried it and it's very cool.

I tried checking gamefly for it, unfortunantly isn't there. I'm going to try and find alternatives since it is not always easy to find ff7 to buy direct besides like ebay and amazon. Does anyone have any legal ideas of where we can get ff7 so that we can put up a big sign during registration that tells them what to do.

They don't create cds with the game anymore.. So it will be hard.. And i can understand some of the "loaders".. But this is not the right place to ask. If you search around the forum,  you are able to find existing links to the UE..

Hello all!
i need help. i have a russian pirate version of final fantasy 8, and there dont work some GF abilitys. i replace the mngrp.bin file in menu.fs archive to english analogue. abilitys now work, but some text (in start screen and menu) became english. I want, that the text became russian, and abilities remained. help, please.
p.s. sorry for my english.

Pretty much people I know now downloads ff7, cuz its really hard to preserve your CD after all these years even if they own a legit copy.

Still not allowed.. It is illegal until Squaresoft allows it..

But a lot of people do that though.

I play PC games but I'm not actually a official fanboy because pc games is not only my hobby. I am also not jealous of what I don't have but contented of what I have.

The easiest way to find out how to fix it for the PC is to figure out where the armor is being equipped and follow that logic. Only thing is, I don't even know how to use debuggers. Can anyone suggest one? I've got one called IDA, but it's confusing.

P.S. I forgot to take out the save folder while uninstalling (uninstalled many times), now I'm back from the beginning. 

Create back ups everytime.. =) Remember it (for the next time).

FF VII PC, it sometimes like that, but sometimes not.

And also, i bought it on DVD version, because the CD version is rare here, and what should i do if the game ask to change disk, and i have the DVD??

So you have the Ultima Editon, or the FF7 Version 1.02? :confused:

Edit: Since there are only pirated versions of FF7 on a DVD, you should buy a legal copy. =P

If you are using these, or perhaps all your FMVs are zero bytes and empty to make the download size smaller, simply don't ask for help, for you will get none here and your thread will be locked.

If you really have to ask why this rule is in place, then this is due to the unethical and illegal nature of pirating the game, as well as the probability that your illegal copies of the game will have extra bugs on top of what we already have to deal with when it comes to the original. Please do not chime in with a debate on the matter as it will not do anything to change the rule, and as such this thread remains locked.

What kind of version do you have? FF7 PC? FF7 Ultima PC? FF7 English? FF7 German?
