Hi guys as u can see im new to this forum and this is my first post

Well the point is that i have a problem i really need help, i have tried most of the faqs/instructions on this site but they dont help me resolve my problem. So i need you guys to help to please help me

Last week  i bought final fantasy VII and VIII for pc

I first installed final fantasy 7 using full install, i then installed the movie player, inserted playdisc 1, double clicked the game from
my desktop, what did i get? i got a quick blackscreen then before i even know it im back to my desktop i cant even get into the game menu.

For final Fantasy 8 i installed  it the same way as i did for Final Fantasy 7, the problem was a black screen with a "FF8.exe error"
you know the one where you can either send error report or dont send.

Here screenshot of my Final Fantasy VII Configurations:

Here's some of my system spec:
P.S i am running on a notepad/laptop

You probably have a codec problem.
try http://aaronserv.dyndns.org/!!stuff/qhimm/duck.exe

If you're using latest ffdshow filter be sure to disable handling of TrueMotion (see http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=4213.msg70276#msg70276)
