PSX model editing
« on: 2012-11-07 12:02:30 »
I have been trying to switch around some stuff between different battle models. So far I have found what I believe is the start of Sephiroths weapon data however I am having trouble finding where it ends unless it runs untill the end of the file itself?

Weapon data starts at offset 016107 (I think)

EDIT: Progress!!! Will release if people want it.

Cool; now I don't have to do the Masamune swap per requests :)

You should definitely release it. Quite a few people requested that on my YouTube chan, etc.

Ok Lazy I will upload it now Im working on two things atm Tifa in a suit (swap with Elena) and Cloud in Scotchs jacket etc. I am guessing its gonna be a complete revamp of the file new offsets parts textures everything so best note everything down I do lol.

EDIT: http://www.mediafire.com/?p93ce62n07gk1lq there ya go Masamune replaces Buster Sword I have no idea if this effects the second weapon It Shouldn't do. Also maybe should replace the sword simular to it with this (can't remember its name)

You're either thinking of Murasame, or Yoshiyuki. Either would be a reasonable swap.

Cool; thanks for sharing. If you don't get around to it, I'll make a quick video and toss it on my YouTube channel, noting in the title and description that this was your doing. Or, I could get lazy and busy and never get around to it, heh.

But being the largest file, CDmage leaves no replacement, what program do you use?
