What?..Thought this issue was resolved already?.....

00.lgp is char.lgp

01.lgp is world_us.lgp

And just replace them in their respective directories ( make sure you make  a back up..for Pete's sake! )

Don't play them using the PRP.exe

USe the main.exe or FFVII MUSIC.exe if you (eventually)use that one...Ayt?

And one more thing....

Use this directory when installing the PRP:

Any Drive  (C:\ or D:\ or E:\)Program Files\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII

and Open regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII to make sure that the all paths are correct..

And test it for your dear Gaming Life!!!  adios!

Alright. I do not mean offense when i tell you that i dislike many of your more recent models. I mean, they aren't even to the original anymore. Your chibi like tall models don't look right, the color scheme is off, and overall don't really match the games style. The point of this project was to put battle models to field no? The colors are great for a chibi, but these are tall models we are talking about here.

Sorry if i sound pissed off. I have had a long week. Luckily a new one has just started, no? Hahah.
In terms of improvement, you shouldn't use solid colors, have a variation, it makes it look like real skin. The way you have it now, makes it look off. Makes it look very.. cartoony, more so than the original.

Also, in many case, the models aren't even standing on the floor. They are merely floating there, and sometimes they are ankle deep into the ground.
These problems, i believe could be easily remedied with the new kimera.

And again, sorry to sound pissed off. I am a bit out of sorts lately. I was merely offering some constructive criticism.

Yours,
BrokenCrowe

The point of the project was just to replace the all models with better models and its still alive project so its not complete yet and all problems will be fixed in do time.

You miss understood. Most of the parts of this project originally came from battle models.
You cannot deny that. You are making the game better with preexisting game parts.
Mainly from with in the battle LGP. That is all i meant. Sorry if i was unclear.

It might be better, if you didn't give the tall models the original chibi colorings. It just looks off to me.
Sorry, if i sound like i am trying to run your project, cause i am not. I am merely inputting my opinion. Constructive criticism.
If you wish to, you can utterly ignore what ever i say, and run the project the way you want to.

Excellent work, thank you for keeping this going. :-D
My only complaint is that I don't like this Cloud field model nearly as much as the last release. :-(
Though I am going to be picking up APZ's when he releases it.

I think its a big step forward of the shape, and for the colouring and detail BrokenCrowe refers, I think that would be introduced later on?

Sounds like a big update...but I think I prefer the Cloud model from the last release. I tried extracting the contents from this new char.lgp, replaced "aaaa.hrc" with the one from the 0.6 RP, and created a new LGP...but it's still the Cloud from the new release. Is there anyway I could keep just the Cloud field model from the old release while still getting all the models from this new release?

Great work, by the way.

Edit: Also, I've noticed the Save Point model has changed. Is there anyway to keep the old model of that as well?

Well according to Mirex's guide there is though I have yet to successfully replace anything beyond a few pieces of materia.

I used that for replacing the field materia with the originals since the ones in this mod don't work.
Some are still a little glitchy though. :|

To switch out the clouds to what you want you need to move more than just the hrc file you need the .p files and everything else. the easiest way for you to do it is extract both char to diff folders (ex: char1{1st realease} char2{2nd realease}) open the cloud from the 1st realease in kimera (aaaa.hrc) now save it to a totally diff foler (ex: cloud) now open your cloud and char2 folder then move all the items in the cloud folder to the char2 one then it should replace the new model with the older one now just use your lpg tools to make your new char file and play and enjoy  8-)

Or to be even quicker save cloud from first release to char2{2nd realease}, kimera will ask to overwrite files, say yes  :-)

avfe, though I haven't been able to successfully identify the corresponding .p files.
I experimented a tad but couldn't restore the original.

Hi!Sorry for such big delay with answer!

First what i want to say:
WHERE ALL YOU PEOPLE BEEN BEFORE?!?! :evil:Several times i posted screens of progress! And where all your dislikes been?
I posted them not just for fun!I wanted your opinion!Everybody said "Everything is great! When I'll be able to use this new models?"And what am i see NOW?! "We don't like it!"

I making this not for myself!I making this for you,PEOPLE!To make the game BETTER!

Another thing:
Quote
Also, in many case, the models aren't even standing on the floor. They are merely floating there, and sometimes they are ankle deep into the ground.

Bring the screens of this!I read enough comments like "This project is bad because all tall models have problems with animation! The game made for CHIBI models."
Thats why all new models that i made was fitted to original skeleton to evade animation problems like this.(Models that were made by old team really had skeleton changes). All models i tested by myself and i not found any glitches with this.Bring the screens if i missed something.

Sorry if i sounds rude!
Back to work...
