Title: help replacing field models
Post by: jusete on 2013-06-12 19:03:59
Hi! I wanted to change a field model and wanted to know how to cut it into parts to replace it later with kimera. I have blender and 3dsmax. Thank you!

use ulgp utility to unpack char.lgp and all the models are already cut into parts like aaaa.hrc which kimera will read. If you need to know which files are for the model you want to change, try this page (http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=4774.msg62916#msg62916)

I don't think that's what he meant. You're asking about a obj or 3ds model right? Converting models into FF7 is a whole other process. Ripped models aren't allowed on Qhimm but assuming you mean a legal model I'll point you in the right direction. It's an old Qhimm post, and doesn't include ripping details so it's a good tutorial for converting custom models.
