Completely Unrelated / PTP Programs
« on: 2010-10-29 06:16:27 »
It seems that the music industry has had enough of their music being ripped by programs such as LimeWire.

Damn how could I have missed this?

Is this truly the end of PTP programs? I honestly think that someone will eventually create another and keep it on the down-low. At least that's what I think anyway.  ::)

I'm trick-or-treating never to old to do so :D
I absolutely agree with that.

I however, want to dress up like Austin Powers. Actually, I would like to, but it probably won't happen.

Its like this quote:

Shooter McGavin is the perfect example of the Norse Mythology-lover, or vice-versa.

Each time he says something, it makes him look twice as bad as what his line was intended to be against.

Yeah, that's what I thought so too: Tissue for the tears when you lose lol.

What is the purpose of a tissue?

Why would Cloud have the option of saying "I've had better dog food."? Could be an insult, or perhaps he has tried dog food. :o

One of my personal favorites (I've asked previously, but I'll put it again for kicks), why do some enemies have enemy skills in which they themselves do not use?

Has anyone figured out how Cloud learned how to ride a motorcycle, and learn how to pilot a submarine within minutes?
Well, a motorcycle doesn't take much effort. Especially if it's made by Shinra Inc. (since they're all lazy and pretty much make everything "for dummies")

Also, IIRC, for the submarine, there was a manual in which you are opt to choose whether or not to read it (again, made everything "for dummies"). :P

was it any good....that's hard to answer. I didn't feel like i wasted my time with it, ala the new Nightmare on Elm Street. It's actually not as graphic as you may be led to believe, it has more of a hitchc*ck-type of grossness if you understand what i mean. The idea of what is going on is a lot worse than what is depicted.
Just IMDb'ed that movie. Woah. I have got to see that movie.

Why is it always a scientist? Also, why do the fucked up movies (not the derogatory way; more like the types that make you flinch at times) always take place or relate of traveling to Europe?

Leighos, please enlighten us on this. :D

No. This was not a thread worth reviving. Not even for Paul.

BOO SPORTS!
I don't really care much for watching sports; I only like to play sports.

But it is funny how sports on television seems to cause many arguments and fights -- so and so team is better than this team; that team sucks, etc.

Jeepers Creepers is one that had me scared, although the acting was subpar. Can't seem to think of any that kept me up late at night. Outside of Paranormal Activity.
Haven't fully seen Jeepers Creepers, but I should get around to watching it. As for Paranormal Activity, yeah, that's some pretty freaky shit.

I dont really care for horror movies. But 13 ghosts was a good one.
I didn't know there were 2 versions to it; I've only seen the remake and I thought it was good.

I loved 28 Days Later & The Ring. I realize that some people didn't find the latter movie scary at all. But I'd be lying if I said I was one.
I <3 28 Days Later. It's not really scary, but it's awesome to watch! Same goes for the sequel.

A movie that really got me when I was a child was "It."

Anything with exorcisms, that supernatural sh*t terrifies me to the point I can't even finish the movie.  All other horror movies are child's play.

see what I did there
Yeah, those type of movies are pretty cool. Demonic spirits in the house and sh*t. Pretty nice.

Horror films such as "a single person/humanoid-being" killing everyone = old, cheesy, repetitive.

Hello fellow members of Qhimm.  ;D

Post horror films that scare the shit outta you. If you claim to not be scared of anything, then post your favorite all-time horror films or any horror films that you think are worth watching.

Hm, don't look at your baby pictures. :o

Interesting find!

Love Zeppelin and yeah, the music in FF7 is very well-made.

As I was listening to the part (1:51 - 2:11) I was like "Hmm... Hmm... HMM!" There was similarity in that part as compared to the FF7 part as well.

Hm, yes, I had forgotten about that!

But he doesn't make that much of a big deal about it. His mom should have been the last to be mentioned lol. I guess he wasn't a momma's boy.  ;)

i haven't been using the CGD. lol. i didn't think it was necessary to use :P. and i only tried the nibelhiem scene once soo... yeah lol. but what about the forgotten capital? when i switch to my regular flevel.lgp, the scene turns night like it's supposed to and i can change into the areas and proceed to watch her death normally kill jenova life, etc. and i do have the 1.02 patch lol.
CGD is a MUST-have no matter what. :D

About the Cloud's stabbing and Aerith's demise, I personally think that Cloud was not ready to die yet.

Not always does someone die due to the physical hurt. Cloud for example, he was a lil more than your average infantryman. Aerith was not as physically fit (or none at all) than Cloud obviously (we all know from watching her jumping onto the roof of houses and she gets tired within 10 ft. :p

So that being said, IMO, Aerith died because she was ready to die. She had summoned Holy and only she knew this (at the time). When Sephiroth stabbed her, she pretty much said "Mission accomplish.....ed."

As for Cloud, he still had a lot to achieve for, and he also had vengeance on his mind: For Tifa, Zack and the townspeople.

On a side note: notice that Cloud does not say "This is for killing my mother!!" during the flashback. Oh how heartless. :(

Not to be mean, prejudice, offensive, or anything of such but most of the users whom post things about ripping, illegal models, AC mods, and anything of that sort; tend to be non-English-speaking people.

Wait wait wait a minute! When Cloud attended to help her, she was clearly knocked out... Wasn't she? That is how it happened in Crisis Core.

Zack was the one who saw and last spoke to Tifa before she completely knocked out. Then after that, Tifa must've knocked out and of course, Zack and Sephiroth engage in a heated battle. Cloud quickly rushes after recovering from Sephiroth's attacks on Nibelheim. Not too long, Zack eventually loses and takes a beat down from Sephiroth. Cloud then checks up on Tifa quickly, then Zack, and yeah, he sticks it to Sephiroth and blah blah blah.

Under General Discussion, the description is as follows.
"General FF/Square topics belong here, along with stuff that doesn't quite fit in elsewhere"

Now, under the new rules, the guidelines for 'General Discussion' are..
"For vague questions.  Anything pertaining to one of the Final Fantasies.  If it's not a question specific to a program or mod, it goes here."

So now the clarification should be obvious. Is General only for FF, or is it for FF along with anything Square?

I wanted to post this under the new rules, but it is locked. Then I was going to post it in General Discussion, so the mods would actually see it and fix the mistake, but that would definitely get me in trouble. I am not trying to be an ahole, or a stickler here. But I think that some organization is key. So in advance, I apologize if I anger or upset somebody.
You read the rules. That is awesome. Do you have any idea how grateful I am and many of the mods here as well?

Instead of getting threads like "how put ac kula mod any show me how thank yu" in General.

I just noticed a while ago about KM's comment about the eyes... LMAO.

I really like his chain; has that AVALANCHE feel to it. Gold just wouldn't fit Barret.
