I would consider continuing them but I can't because I haven't got FFVII on my computer anymore..

As for FFVIII..

This is kind of a bump I guess. Can anyone just confirm to me if there is anyway I can get this to play in a window mode? It'd make things a lot easier for me. Also, I can't mute it either, can anyone help with that too?

- Thank you.

If you have Bio2, cast that straight away (I know you didn't mention you had it..). Get everyone having Barrier and Haste on. If you have Regen, it'd be wise to use that.

It's not too hard, post again if that doesn't help you.

You need to get patches for them.

For FFVII Type in on google, 'Reunion Patch', you'll probably find some links to download that. That should patch up your game I guess.

Or.. [suggested method] just type in Eidos on google and search for the patches there.

Was along time since I did my FFVII, and I got all my patches with the game..   (Do not ask any questions relating to that please).

Solved Problems / FF8 Wrong Disk Error
« on: 2005-11-25 23:33:20 »
Yeah this is really common. This is what I did:

Start >>> Run >>> regedit >>> On the left pannel you'll have some folders that start with 'HKEY', find the one called "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" >>> Now Software >>> Find 'Squaresoft, inc >>> Final Fantasy VIII >>> 1.00 >>> In 1.00 look for the file 'Datadrive' on the right hand box, double click it and change the value drive to whatever your CD drive is.

Oh, it's said that it won't work in a DVD rom.

I hope this helps, any more problems about this post them in here. :)

I've got one from there, but it seems to be a patch not a configurator of any form?

==EDIT==

Ok sorry, I've gotten the FF8Config, but it doesn't allow to me to set it to a Window at all. The quater screen just makes it a smaller game in a full-screen mode.

Is there anyway I can set this game to be in a window?

Thank you.

Do you know where I can download the ff8configurator.exe?

Sorry to bother you all. I've just got two questions for you.

1) Is there anyway that I can make it so I can set the 'Enter' button on my number pad to take over the job of the 'x' button.. It seems to know recognise the enter button even being there, I also want the Menu button (I think it's 'd') to be the '+' on the number pad.

2) Is there anyway I can get this to play in window mode? Either that, or is there anyway to get out of the program but run it still, like 'Alt+Tab', I've tried 'Alt+D' and that failed aswell..

- Thank you in advance.
