Any chance Alyza to put the Beacause retranslation in the 7H catalog on day ?

Yes, ReTranslation will be added. I have just a couple more weeks until the kids are out of school, then I'll be on summer break until September. Expect a lot more frequent updates this summer :)

man that would be soo awesome.

I think the next priority after that would be 60fps battles, its part of the same installer i think so maybe that might make things easier, but i guess you have your own priority list.

Sorry if this is the incorrect place to put this question.  When I set up FF7 with Final Heaven originally I set it to my Video Cards HDMI Audio Out.  How can I change the audio out to a different sound card though? I do alternate between two different audio outputs fairly often, so any help would be appreciated.  Thank you so much.

i'm getting this error message when i try to open the 7th heaven exe. I've ran it once before with no problems. Many screens popped up and i continuously closed them out because i didn't know what's going on. Any ideas?

Recheck your paths in the settings and make sure there are no typos. Also check your mods\7th Heaven\temp folder and delete any mods that may not have finished downloading before you closed the download window or 7H itself.

Retranslation being added as well? Awesome, but when? Anything else from Reunion? I've never touched it personally. I used bootleg in the past, but it was a lot more clunky and difficult to use than this. Running through the command prompt and a ton of installers for hours on end was obnoxious, and the graphical mods always clashed too much in style for my tastes. I'm honestly amazed at how easy and fast modding FFVII has become more recently. Everything is much more unified now, which makes me happy. :D

Also, an unrelated question. How did you feel about Squeenix teasing FFVII on PS4 and crushing everyone's dreams of a remake, again? Do you care anymore?

I'm a school teacher, so once the kids are out of school, I'll have the free time to work on updates. School ends June 12th for us. I plan on having Beacause, Menu Overhaul, and Weapon from The Reunion mod pack. This will probably be the last update for Menu Overhaul because DLPB has decided to discontinue it after R03. He is going to work on a menu mod that stays more true to the original style of the game. I'll try to include that when it's released.

It was so long ago and they specifically stated it as a technical demo, so I never really felt much for it.

Do you plan too to make NT1.3 from Sega chief available this summer ? :)

Didn't tried yet( cause I prefer waiting for Sega chief perfectionning it ), but I think it refresh completely the game.
I play Gjoerulv hardcore, who gives me a lot of challenge and fun, but I can't wait for testing NT1.3 :)

It's not loading Aali's Custom Driver, and many of the mods don't work without it. The driver is included in the Game Converter from STEP 1. If you used it, then everything should be setup automatically to just start 7H and do all the remaining steps to start playing.

Is there any reason that Red Werewolf also includes the newer spell names? (Cura, Firaga, etc.) Can that be it's own addon? I'm not a fan of Red Werewolf personally. Also, why does the configure menu for Red Werewolf show all of the difficulty mods? Should I enable the difficulty mod I want under Red Werewolf, or Difficulty and Story?

Not unless I go in and edit the files he made, which I'm not responsible for. The difficulty mods shown in the Red Werewolf menu are to be chosen to match with the same mod selected in the Gameplay - Difficulty and Story category. Honestly, Red Werewolf is going to be revamped the next update to be put into the all the Models categories, so I wouldn't worry too much about playing with it now. The next update will happen this month.

I had the mods out of order. I was dumb. Now that I have that sorted out I'm noticing that the Prelude Credits and Start Menu are defaulting despite being changed in Background and Avatars. Are there any known conflicts with it?

...and now it is working. Weird.

I only have 1 question since its the only problem I have everything else works perfectly fine.
Does anybody know how to get the Media-Movies to work? I re downloaded it and nothing seems to work besides the original
chibi fmv. If I select other options nothing changes while activated

Only because you mentioned the Chibi part, I think only DrLilo's video replaces that. Afar from that what I can think is that you chose the wrong video folder, be it while installing the Game Converter of 7th Heaven or on the 7th Heaven settings. Like for example once the converted by itself decided to default the movies folder to C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII\movies\ (I think I pressed enter instead of choosing my own folder) and not in C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII\data\movies\ where I wanted it.

My suggestion is to move the actual original movie files out of the game folder and in a temporary folder and then create a movies folder on both the main game folder and in the data folder. Then try to change the option in settings and try both folders. Also in case you wonder "what about the original video files?", these are not needed at all if you are using Media-Movies.

Well the thing is if I'm installing any game or mods to game updates I always manually choose my D drive[HDD]and never install anything to the SSD or C drive
Plus the game itself is on my D drive so when I used the converter I updated the game'e exe while in D drive. So by default everything should be ok. Also to note theres nothing in the movie folder.
Whats strange is we are downloading a 3gb file from the catalog, but its sitting the in the 7th heaven folder not doing anything while everything else does. Unless theres a step missing from the tutorial to get the movie mod to work or its possible a bug is preventing this to be activated

The address in the 7th heaven tool are correct I double checked many times aswell.
If the music mod works then I'm not sure why the movies don't

There's no bug involved with movies. You just have to have the movies path in Settings set to the same path that was confirmed during the game converter in STEP 1. The path chosen then is in the registry and what 7H will read from for its movies path in the Settings.

Ahhhhhh I figured it out now. Wow the answer was infront me the whole time. So since I'm using an ISO I would have to set 7th heaven movie settings to the Disc Drive folder that has the movies

EDIT: Well I spoke too soon. According the FF7 Registry created by the converter my movie path is set to G Drive which is located in my game ISO, but the movie mod still isn't working
Not much I can do if the correct address path still doesn't fix this, so I'm at a dead end, but thank you for the replies guys

Not sure if this was covered, I did go searching but couldn't find nothing. It seems that some of the mods you are able to use in tifas bootleg are missing from 7th heaven because of the fact you can manually download. Is there anyway I can use 7th heaven to do all of this because if not I might aswell just go back to tifas bootleg with more mods.....

Well 7th Heaven is really just an alternative for FF7 modding I like to think of it as a well organized mod tool. Its still in the early stages where some mods don't work or are unstable upon use. Bootleg is still great tool to use especially if you have been using for a long time. EQ2Alyza mentioned both will get more support.

Little question.
A group of French FFVII fans made a total french retranslation in fr of the game. The patch is an installer, who alters ff7.exe

I use a 7H working fine install of the game.
I think it's uncompatible, but if I try to run this exe, will 7H continue to work ?
