usually i would right click the exe, properties, comparability and override the DPI scaling. that always works for me

Right click the 7thheaven and set and set the compatibility to run as as administrator. apply and close.
Then find the FF7 exe you are using eg.. ff7_bc right click and set compatibility to run in 640x480.

Thank you! It fixed it. However it does mess up the resolution so that the game isnt fully displayed

I found out what the problem was. I had to switch the FF7.exe to the FF7_bc.exe because of the textbox mod.

Troubleshooting / FF7 with graphic mods crashes on the first text box

I've installed the graphic mods according to the tutorial and it seemed to be correctly installed. However when I start 7th heaven FF7 it crashes when the first textbox is supposed to appear. After you jumped out of the train. It almost seems like there is an error message behind the game and by hitting the space bar it closes it and the crashed game. I cannot move or do anything else. What should I do?
