If I remember right, this is the default behaviour in vanilla, but had a HP cap (30k?) where it didn't work due to the limited values.

Ochu by DLPB_ had a number of small hacks, one of them increasing the sense cap to 65k. Any futher modifications would require hacking the exe.

Septerra Core is a really good shout, I still have my copy from the late 90's, although you can pick it up on steam for 5 bucks.
Haven't played it since then and I remeber the battle system being a bit clunky at times, but the theming is very similar to FF7.

Damn, these look amazing! Loving the anime vibe from the in-game screenshots. Keep up the great work!

How have I only just found this?
Listening to the Prelude gave me goosebumps like I was playing the game again for the first time.
Incredible work, I wish you good health and maybe someday we will see this finished

Hey,
I'm new to making my own mod in gerenal, but I love the work you and others have done so far!
My question is: Is it possible to apply a change to all enemies at the same time? For example, if I wanted to add 10 levels to all enemies? Or make everything immune to sleep? etc. Instead of manually changing each by hand?
Thanks!

Hi all,

Played around with this today (awesome tool), once I'd finished I couldn't get Deling to open the modified kernal to insert it back into main.fs. It just displays the error: "Can not open disk image file. (Unkown error)"

Anyone know what could be the issue? Are there any limits to mods you can make (size?)

Thanks

Edit: I figured out what I was doing wrong, never mind!  :-X

Thanks for the mod Chief, hope to have some fun with this.

Side note: Just managed to heal Cloud in the HoneyBee inn in the Wallmarket by completing the scene to get the Lingerie Key Item.

I very rarely check steam, thanks a lot for pointing that out to me!

The only thing that annoys me so far is the button prompts are for an xbox controller. Trying to imput Aurons overdrive with a PS3 pad is just annoying I can't seem to get used to it.

If anyone manages to restore the PS2 button prompts I would love you for ever.

Got soft-locked in Mt. Corel with Cloud constantly running into Tifa after speaking with the NPC on the first screen.

I also had Barrett in my party, if that makes any difference.

Edit: Will happen with any party that involves Barrett, regardless of their position in the team.

Awesome work as always Chief! Enjoy your vacation/easter.

Few things, I believe I have the latest patch however the save point in the sewer before/as you fight Aps allows access to SP which I believe is before the actual point it becomes active (Mythril Mines?).

Aeris' Striking Staff has 'Attack - Barrier' on the status page, however only seemed to have gotten this to activate once on the party and multiple times on the enemy. Is the chance percentage based? or is it to do with defences? (I unequiped everything and couldn't get it to work) or am I missing something completely?

Also I love how each new piece of equipment makes each character more diverse, and not just plain outclasses older stuff.
