PS1ISO Utility <-- find those pesky files!
« on: 2007-05-26 17:41:46 »
Right so what does this do?

It will read an ISO image file and give a nice clean list of the directory structure and disk information.
It will also indicate mode2 mode 1 audio video files that have the odd sector size halkun has been quietly cursing about.
This is displayed in a column called Mode and with a sector size in it.

I am looking for a way too allow people to access it.

Suggestions welcome (opinions heh LOL).

Here is a link to a screen shot.

Cyb

PS

Divshare URL for the installer.  It is rar'd (because exe files aren't allowed ;) ) with the executable installer in it.  This will install 3 files 2 DLL type files and one executable.

Well, I downloaded and unrar'd it... Just got a picture. It looks like a really useful program, how disapointing.

That hosting site doesn't allow exes, so he changes the extension of the setup from exe to jpg, then rared it. You only need to extract that "jpg" andchange the extension to .exe
If you can't see the extension, change the folder options to show extensions for known file types.

Hmmm sorry about that I suppose next time I'll try a different route.
I don't know what they are trying to prevent in terms of executables. ZIP RAR and many archive formats are no longer available on YeeHaw. Hmmm.

Too bad about the installer - I like using tools quickly, and having to install the tool will move it to a location I don't want it to be (Program Files), add some registry entries, and it's generally slower for me. Ah well.

If you'd like, I could mirror this for you on two different hosts. ;)

Is there nothing available for us Linux folks?

Edit: I'm currently working with Cyb to get something together for Linux users.

What other program may I make an image (ISO) with that won't offset the sectors?  :?

edit: my fault, had to change the 'Files of type' from iso to image' D  'h!!

Hi all.

I'm a linux user/developper, and a FFvii fan. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to help get the Linux version of this tool going and/or if there is any source available.

TIA.
