Can you kindly show me how to reverse the whole process of installing?...I tried running the bootleg again and still had the same error (bjfv.yos)...

What did you use to convert the Steam version? It has to be converted to work.

The disc problem is because you don't have a HDD, Flash Drive, or Virtual Drive labeled FF7DISC1. You can rename any drive to FF7DISC1, or you can mount this blank ISO to a Virtual Drive using Daemon Tools Lite. You must have a drive labeled FF7DISC1 before you use a game converter, and keep it labeled that afterwards when launching the game.

Which version of my textures are you using? To get them working in [game_dir]\mods\mod\battle|world, you need to have the PNG versions. The LGP versions are for manually importing them into battle.lgp and world_us.lgp, and the IRO version is for use with 7th Heaven.

I finally decided to follow step by step instructions of this mod http://forums.qhimm.com/?topic=13212.0
But then it crashed after the new game screen

Hi guys,

I've been lurking around the forum for the past 5 hours and try to make just one mod to work. Then I figure maybe I need this first to start doing anything. However, I still couldn't get it to work. Mine is steam version. I converted to the old version but whenever I clicked that app (the old icon), it asks for the discs so I don't touch it again. I still could get the steam version to work (using steam app launcher). Anyway, here's what I did:

1. I downloaded the newest version of Aali's driver
2. I uncompressed it to the game folder (replaced the old folders)
3. Ran the ff7config.exe and ran the sound tab (test and such)
4. Ran the reg file
5. Opened the clg file and changed the mod path to "mod_path = mod" (since my folder is [game_dir]/mods/mod/battle or world etc)
6. Copied the mod (specifically the image files from the amazing EQ2Alyza at http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=14469.0) and pasted on the correct folders.
7. Started the game from app launcher. Nothing happened.

Here's my open gl config file http://pastebin.com/W43Qvswb

I'm so tired at this point but I feel like I'm close to actually enjoying the game again...So I need to at least make this work to start looking at other mods again.

Thank you for all the hard work guys! Hopefully this is not another stupid question...
