Hi, when i tried to replace tex files with bmp files using LGP-Tools, the program did nothing.
But i got it to work using the import featiure in Highwind (http://christian59.ch.funpic.de/Programmiern/Highwind.rar)'s Tex-Viewer.

Hey thanks for these. Although I haven't tried them in game yet, I'm sure they will look great. I like the fact that they look closer to the originals than the Advent Children ones.

I think these are the nicest avatars yet, amazing what a bit of photoshopping can do. I'm guessing you got these from magazine scans, or from the FF7 promotional pictures.

Thank you. I got them from this site http://www.liveseed.net/finalfantasy7/artwork.php (which I guess are the promo pics)
I just searched chocobo on google for my chocobo, I think it fits nicely.

I was wondering, when does a chocobo join your party?

And Chris, Thanks for that program.

Haha, never. The picture is used for when you give a chocobo a name.

Dont try to replace them. Extract the menu_us.lgp to a folder. Copy the new files into the folder. Then create a new lgp using that folder as the source. Then copy over the original menu_us.lgp

You can also use LGPTools' A<>B replace function

i tried it this way... but the files are in a .bmp format... but i renamed them to .tex files but still didnt work...

EDIT: or did i mess up changing them to ".tex" format?

Just leave them as .jpg and use A<>B replace on each individual portrait and you should be fine
