what id like to see implemented (if you don't mind :3) is a way to edit Sephiroth, and or Young Cloud,
eventually when i care about doing so.

and a bug fix for adding the Masamune to your inventory. (it wont let you, had to use Jenova to add in that,
because when you add Sephy to party he has a t-vest as his weapon equipped making him miss every time. xD)
i have fixed this already in my unreleased version. (more progress below)

one more thing i'd like to see (maybe could do this for materia, also?) is add in, a "Add All" Function when it comes to items, so every item in the directory will be added to your inventory (and you can specify how many with the value already set and given)
maybe in the future, this feature is not important to me at all.

having it remember where you last loaded your save, to save you a little bit of time from going folder to folder (especially when testing things, if your creating your own mod and what not) would be lovely as well. :D
maybe in the future, this feature is not important to me at all.

edit:: as for darkfang stat/limit issue i will look in to that and fix it for 1.2

Edit2 :: Progress update.
  • Fixed: Stat and limit bar cutoffs now work as expected
  • Fixed: Item Index #'s now work correctly, as a result item # 128 can be added to your inventory (Masamune)
  • Fixed: Materia in char weapons/armor can now be correctly assigned new ap values.
  • New: A Feature i don't even want to tell you about. till it work right, just know it is gonna be sweet

you have to have a way to run homebrew software on the ps2 to be able to install fmcb , i.e you need to have swap disks or something similar.

NiN is a band... But Trent Reznor retired.

Trent is not retired. he just don't put out albums ne more cause of the RIAA, the last few NIN albums have been put out under the creative commons and you can download them from his page.

idk whats going on w/ google docs. i will just host it from my site too too, slower but always up.

Because packed archives are usually faster to access on FAT/32 and NTFS. The game has only to open a file handle and jump around it, while separate files means separate handles and additional processing for opening those handles.
100% correct. this would explain why i don't notice the slow down on my machine with an ext4 / drive , cause i was just about to say "what slowdown" ....

i think they mostly come from noobville.

Imagine if they made an MMORPG with characters like Cloud in it. There would be a zillion Clouds running around, and no one else XD

like in the last matrix movie when they have all those agent smiths....

This is looking nice though. I have never used Aerith's lv4 limit, this will make it feasible.

Troubleshooting / Re: Battle.lgp issue
« on: 2010-06-01 20:16:33 »
for starters STOP using Lgp tools its broken instead used aali's lgp/unlpg, i have compiled and created an installer for it, very simple to use. download use the windows installer and then open a command like (win+r = run box , cmd = program for cli) then in the cli browse to the your ff7 install folder, make a new dir, copy battle.lgp there , then go in to the folder and run
Code: [Select]
unlgp battle.lgp it will extract the file to the same folder so be sure u make a folder and copy battle.lgp there first. then when your done. use lgp to make a new lgp
Code: [Select]
lgp <folder> <outputfile>

i just (thru the magic of black chocobo) reserected my aeris from my legit psx save (from years ago) and she died @ level 54 w/ all her limits. i tend to level them up a bit to much as well then use a rubberband around the Ok button durring battles.

1395
jeff have you seen the file reconstruction project (sticky in game tweaking) we have a good deal ided, animation files are .a files (mostly).

1396
Yeah noone would get anything done with all the wives/gf's nagging lol.

Exactly.

edit: another idea. maybe just adding light sources where the characters stand would fix that.  That's somwhat what the devs did in the original scene judging from the top image ...

yes this when i attempted to add the lighting effects, they turned out poorly but it helped greatly in making the background part of the scene and not "the" scene.

@outfoxxed , please get the latest version , that is a known bug in 1.0 + 0.9. if it is the newest version 1.1 i will look in to the bug again.

1399
maybe when i grow tired of save game editing i will use aali's lgp to make a new gui based lgp tool. then perhaps we can get people to stop using broken programs.

1400
i though that lgpTools had some serious issues thats why we use aali's tool for it now. (i know it does in wine)
