Video Error Message When Running 7th Heaven
« on: 2015-10-21 21:21:01 »
Hello,

I keep getting the following error message when I click "Launch Game" in 7th Heaven.  When I click on "OK", the window just closes and I'm taken back to 7th Heaven so the game won't even start.

"OpenGL renderer does not support OpenGL 2.0.  Your graphics drivers are probably not up to date.  Shaders are required since version 0.8."

Anyone encounter this or know how to resolve?

10 to 1 you need to upgrade your system's graphics drivers. Do you know what GPU you have?

I'm running Parallels on my Mac with Windows 7.  Under Device Manager and my Display adapters, all I see is "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" which is also up to date.

Oh, Parallels... Well, that makes things more complicated, but I think probably not impossible.

I don't know how up-to-date these directions are, but they're probably worth trying: http://kb.parallels.com/en/122485

I'll try these instructions.  Hopefully that'll solve the issue.  Thanks for the help!

Looks like following the instructions got rid of the video error but now I'm getting an error on post processing.  Says to check app.log.  Any ideas?

To be clear, the error message I'm getting reads something like this "Postprocessing initialized failed.  Check APP.log for details"

When I check the APP.log, I see the following:
