ok you need put the patches folder in the ff7 directory. In the patches folder thats where you have the .srb files followed by the matching txt files so TransparentDialogBoxes.srb/TransparentDialogBoxes.txt should be together in there. Now make sure the install.bat and skerb files are outside the patches folder with FF7.exe. run the bat file and your golden.

To Use FF7music you have to enable music_plugin = plugins/ff7music.fgp with the latest Custom ff7_opengl-0.7b driver right? i get the chocobo script bug when you first enter the farm to get them to dance again and the inn music is cut out again.

For FF8 Make sure you have the correct 1.2 patch Geforce i had that same error then i used this and it worked.

OK make SURE you install the 2008 Visual C ++ SP1 Redistributable!! lol thats why it wasn't working. glad i was able to help myself out on this topic lol Aali put that in a readme for us noobs

well my cfg has no effect anything i change in it nothing happens. all i did was copy and paste the new cfg so i'm puzzled. the game runs but as far as changing options in the new cfg nothing happens so the driver must not be loading. i checked the reg and everything seems to be good     driver = 3  driverpath = ff7_opengl.fgd mode= 2 options = 0

so its still not loading lol i don't know what i did to jack it up from the last driver

i dropped in the ff7_opengl-0.6.10b's FGD file and CFG  it loads fine so i don't get it

Any tips on getting this driver to load Aali?

What is the correct way of installing ff7_opengl-0.7b driver on top of ff7_opengl-0.6.10b? i can't get 0.7 to work correctly. it must not be loading right

OK I'm updating from ff7_opengl-0.6.10b to ff7_opengl-0.7b driver and the 0.7 ff7_opengl.cfg is not working. Any options i set nothing changes. i set showfps = yes and nothing. use_shaders = yes nothing changes. the ff7_opengl.fgd is 298kb compared to 0.6.10b's ff7_opengl.fgd 3.30mb. It works fine when i revert back to 0.6.10b  Anyone having problems with the update? Am i a complete idiot and forgetting something? lol

Excellent job! Having all these updates from these forums to inject into FF7 makes the PC version so superior to the PSX version its ridiculous lol. Can't wait for more  :mrgreen:

I noticed turning on the (Alt. setting method) in the output_wave.dll plugin settings helped when music was cutting out after certain events  :mrgreen:

fake_midi = false too

yeah hmm it also cuts off the sequence music when you stay at an inn just after you pay

As you first enter, speak with the Chocobo and 'Wark' hello. All
Chocobos are suppose to perform a little dance for you and spit out your summon
Materia: Choco/Mog. Instead of them dancing it just gives me the materia. Thought it might be a Phoenix Rejuvenation Project glitch so i uninstalled it... still no dance. i have 1.2 patch, aali custom driver, yamp patches installed. Anyone else have the same problem?  :?
