Hello,
After downloading the setup exe from the 7th Heaven website, I get this error message when attempting to run the program: "Runtime error (at 68:328): This action is only valid for products that are currently installed." I am unable to install 7th Heaven.  Any help is appreciated!

7th Heaven / Wireless Controller Issue

Hey everyone,
I have a Xbox One controller (model 1708) that I have been using flawlessly when using 7th Heaven.  But only when it's wired.  When I connect it through bluetooth, it does not register my buttons correctly.  I tried connecting it directly to my computer and using the wireless adapter, but the problem remains the same.  What's odd is that when I open the settings I can see that all of my buttons are being registered as I press them.  I've also used antimicro to map the controller which seems to work, but once I open 7th Heaven and set my controls, the buttons are completely off and get jumbled up, and I find that some buttons don't even register at all.

Has anyone have any success with playing with a wireless controller, specifically with mine?

Oh crap it wasn't you!  My bad!  I just realized they were Team Avalanche Fields.  Now I'm wondering why and how they were taken off my mod list.  Anywho, sorry for the confusion!  Also, thanks for all the hard work you and your team has done for this.  Everything looks beautiful!

is there a reason I can't get this mod to work with 7H? Every other one I try works except this one, game runs but the background is still the same as the original

I'm having the same issue.  The mod worked before, but after I started a new game recently I noticed that these fields will not load.  I recently went to Aerith's house and am now currently in the sewers and I remember these were part of the project (looks fantastic by the way).  But now, only the Remako fields are loading.  Not sure what happened as I did not make any changes to 7th Heaven.  I currently have the newest version 2.2.3.522, and Project Edge is above the "Field Textures-Qhimm Catalog," and the mod path is set correctly.  I already tried resetting the mod path and deleted and re-downloaded the mod but no luck.

You just can not upgrade to 2.0 as there has been changes from 1.5 in many of the files and kernals, so just upgrading will cause issue with a lot of things. You really could do with just starting a new game again.

After upgrading to 2.0, I did exactly just that and started a new game.  But as I explained, changing the battle music to Field doesn't do anything.

If you are upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0 using the same save file, you can expect things not working properly for sure. It's recommended that you start a new game with 2.0 version, as it is not compatible with games started using 1.5.

And that's exactly what I initially did, but unfortunately the toggle does not work even with the new file.

Hey Sega, thanks for your work.  For 2.0, has anyone else experience a problem with toggling the field music on during battles?  It worked with 1.5, but after I upgraded to 2.0 yesterday the battle music remains normal even with the field option toggled.

Hello Mcindus,
I purchased your mod pack and I have to say I am having a blast with it.  Thanks for all the hard work you and everyone involved.   You guys truly made my re-play through that much more enjoyable.  Everything is pretty much working except for one thing: the HP limit is not breaking.  I've seen multiple forums and solutions but none have been successful.  I saw you recently created a new hext file (or whatever its called, i'm not too savy with this stuff); whatever was made to replace the .dll files.  Anyway, I still have my HP limit still set at 9999 (i tried leveling, messing with the HP+%).  I hope this is the correct place to post this.

Although this isn't exactly game breaking, I would love to have this working, especially towards end-game of my "omega extreme" run.  Looking forward to your response.  Let me know if I need to provide anything.

I just noticed when I run SLI through Nvidia Control Panel, it causes my game to run very slow.  When I take it off (or rather running SLI in performance mode) the game runs very smooth.

And just to make sure I'm doing this right: I deactivate "Gameplay-difficult and story," import the new IRO file and activate it (not necessarily put it in my 7th heaven-mods folder).  And should it be at the very bottom of the load order?

7th Heaven / New Threat v1.4 game crash

So my game crashes after defeating airbuster/plasmabuster.  Right after Cloud falls into the slums, the scene transitions into a black screen and crashes.  A crash.dmp is created as well as a bunch of "P" files within the game directory which I've never seen before.  Hopefully someone can figure this out!

Anyway, what I would love to see personally are:
Advent Children mods: costumes for main characters

Cloud First Tsurugi:  perhaps each piece being a new weapon to equip, and his ultimate weapon would be all piece completed.  Or anything really, I just love the base of the first tsurigi and its final form =D

Allowing retranslation to work with difficulty mods: I'm using New Threat and it kind of sucks I can't use the retranslation along with it.  Cause, lets face it, who actually likes the original translation of ff7?

More field and battle textures/entire game retextured:  not sure if it is just me, but sometimes it feels like not all the fields (3d rendered maps, battle fields, open world fields, etc) are influenced by the mods.  i don't know if it my eyes messing with me

Anyhow, thanks to you all for allowing me to replay this with these mods! =D

Well, now that I think of it perhaps lag wasn't the right term.  What it looks like is that everything just goes slower.  Cloud jumping out of the train, the transition from field to battle (swirl effect is super slow), even when bringing up the menu the boxes come up slower (especially noticeable when loading a game, the load bar loads slow).

Luckily, after uninstalling and reinstalling my gpu drivers everything began to run smooth like before.

These mods are awesome by the way, definitely enjoying replaying this =D

Game is pretty laggy when running.  I started a new game and the cut scenes play fine, but once Cloud jumps off the train everything lags.  The lag continues even in battle.  Anyone know what might be causing this?  I was running 7th Heaven just fine not too long ago but something happened where my game would crash upon launching so I decided to do reinstall (and clean registry keys), redownload the mods (ugh) and restart from scratch.  Now I have it running just fine (so it seems) but there is noticeable lag, which did not occur before.  I'll post some info and let me know if there is anything else I can provide.  Thanks in advance!

7th Heaven / Field Textures

I was just wondering,  I have both Field Textures part 1 & 2 downloaded and activated.  Part 1 selections include Omzy and yarLson, while part 2 includes only satsuki.  However, once I configure and choose satsuki for Part 2 it will state that Part 1 will no longer be used.  Is this supposed to happen?

Also, regarding the "Texture" folder within the "mods" folder in the game directory, I have no files within the "Texture" folder.  All of my mod downloads are in the "7th Heaven" folder. 

I followed the directions stated for using 7th Heaven but I was just wondering if this is supposed to happen.

I've been using 7th heaven for awhile.  I also successfully used this but I took a long break before coming back.  Now my game won't launch as well.  I've decided to do a complete reinstall and clean (including registry keys).  Redownloaded 7th heaven and followed the instructions correctly (I'm assuming).  Anyway, when I launch 7th heaven and click on Launch Game, I get this error message:

However, when I run 7th heaven as admin, I am able to launch the game, but the game immediately crashes and closes.  So now I'm stuck.  Any help is appreciated.
