Theme for the forums

So I've been messing around with it - turns out the CSS for SMF forums are really hard to edit. So many CSS rules!
I did manage to make some progress though, but I'm giving up for today. Is it something anyone would be interested in me finishing?

I approve of the general idea of this, although it will take some work before it's sufficiently faithful to the FF7 menu.

How will you distribute it? Greasemonkey script maybe?

Found an Add-on for Firefox called "Stylish"
It's being quite glitchy for me though.

To each their own. I think these should end up being a project for the forum to be themed like the games that are modded here.

I gotta say I like this theme and video game themes get played out very quickly...But it would be nice for an option, Not sure what the limitations are in SMF 2.0 but I am pretty sure you can have a drop down list of themes. Don't think Qhimm could be coerced into adding them as it would take a bit of work on his end. Plus I have to say themes are a bitch to maintain what works in firefox doesn't work in IE and what works in IE doesn't work in safari ect...You get my point if I was Qhimm I'd just stick to my guns its worked so far.

A theme like this would be a nice addition for folks like me who don't care for the grey/white color scheme we have. well, i have stylish and it's a fun app for firefox, i don't mind adding this to my other themes.

Hell I understand how much a pain in the but forums are to try and edit and add stuff to. PHPBB3 is a pain in the kisser.

i like the layout if only because for the first time i can read the input boxes, the old version had a bad habit of applying my system color scheme to the page, and forcing a black text so it was grey on black. kinda hard to read

I like your theme but.. Can you add other colors rather than the original blue??(if you'd like). Also, would you also mess with this things for chrome or only for firefox??
